Chalet Enarpa

Under normal snow conditions, it is possible to ski down to La Clusaz on green/blue rooms from the foot of the Balme slopes; the nearest lifts are the Etrivaz drag, and the Balme and Fernuy gondolas, 1 km away (free parking). 

The design, architecture and décor of the 200m² Chalet Hotel Enarpa is a happy amalgam of the contemporary and traditional; the levels of comfort are second to none, with spacious, light-filled and well-appointed rooms and top-quality bedding. The views from the chalet itself and the hot tub on the south-facing terrace are wonderful.

What really sets the Chalet Hotel Enarpa apart, however, is the warm, genuine Savoyard welcome you are guaranteed from the owners, the friendly Boguet family, all of whom are involved in running the chalet and are renowned for their generous hospitality and human touch: Mireille and Gilles and their 2 children Sara and Richard are local folk through-and-through who use their extensive network of contacts to arrange, on request (and at a supplement, payable locally), such activities as snow quad biking; dog or horse sledding; paret riding (a sort of sit-on toboggan, native to la Clusaz, and taken very seriously in these parts!); igloo evenings with fondue; farm visits with tasting; helicopter rides; treasure hunts and Nordic walking; Sara takes Pilates, fitness and steps classes, and with a bit of encouragement, Mireille will share the secret of making the best cheese fondue in the Haute Savoie!

Offered on a sole occupancy basis, the Chalet Hotel Enarpa is perfect for mixed group of skiers/non-skiers
