3 Valleys Information
The four largest resorts (and probably the most well-known) in the 3 Valleys are Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. But we also offer some smaller resorts that link into the 3 Valleys:
- La Tania - part of the Courchevel domain via lift links
- St Martin de Belleville - part of the Les Menuires domain via lift links
- Orelle - part of the Val Thorens domain via gondola link, in the 4th Valley
The Three Vallées is a vast, snow-sure ski area that offers over 600km of lift and piste-linked terrain with a multitude of snow cannons. A keen skier or boarder could cover huge areas, rarely taking the same run twice which makes for an exhilarating holiday. In terms of the quantity of connected skiing, there is nowhere like it.
The slopes provide for fun for all abilities, with areas ranging from safe accessible beginner’s slopes, perfectly groomed pistes, tree-lined runs, off-piste areas etc. Each resort also has a huge range of activities and facilities to check out once you are off the pistes. The 3 Valleys has invested heavily in alternative activities to skiing (or for after skiing). You can find exhilarating zip lines, fast sledging courses, snowmobile adventures, dog sledging, ice rinks, swimming pools and plenty of events within each resort. Of course, each resort offers a great selection of bars and restaurants, and quite a few night clubs for those party night owls.
Eating out in the Three Valleys offers an exciting variety of choices. Exhilarate your taste buds with fine dining at any of the 10 Michelin-starred restaurants (with 16 stars between them and the most amount of Michelin-star restaurants of any mountain) scattered across the 3 Valleys, or have a simple good value meal, and try tartiflette or burgers by the side of the pistes.
