We have even more choice for your winter holiday to the French mountains! Here's what we have added to our programme ready for the coming season for winter 2020/21!

We are also looking ahead to winter 2021/22 and have some exciting announcements about some brand new accommodation that will be opening.

New properties for winter 2020/21
Neige et Soleil, Les Deux Alpes
Brand new for the 2020-21 season, the Neige et Soleil residence is located in the Grand Plan area of Les 2 Alpes. The property is near a number of shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as being only 200m from the slopes, nearest lifts and ESF meeting point. Facilities include free underground parking, free WiFi, and access to a wellness area with pool, sauna, steam room and spa.
Alpen Lodge, La Rosière
The 4* luxury Alpen Lodge, opening for December 2020, will be located in the Quartier des Eucherts area, close to the ski slopes, main chair lift and ESF ski school meeting point. The residence will offer luxurious apartments, modern facilities and access to an indoor heated pool. A hot tub, sauna, steam room and fitness room are all also planned.
L'Alpaga, La Toussuire
Opening February 2021, l’Alpaga will be at the foot of the slopes and close to the village centre. L’Alpaga will offer 82 luxurious apartments ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms. An indoor heated swimming pool, hot tubs, saunas, steam room and fitness room and a spa are also all planned.
Le Faucigny, Chamonix
Tucked away in the heart of Chamonix, this boutique hotel is only a 5-minute walk to the slopes and close to the shops and restaurants of this famous ski town. Le Faucigny has recently had a full renovation, the hotel offers beautiful rooms with breakfast, and there's access to the spa area - including a sauna and hot tub!
Chalet Mounier, Les Deux Alpes
Chalet Mounier is the oldest hotel in Les Deux Alpes - originally opened in 1879! This charming hotel is located at just a 2-minute walk from the Diable chairlift. There’s a choice of two restaurants, including the Michelin starred P’tit Polyte, as well as a TV room, games room, spa, and lounge area with open fireplace.
La Duit, Doucy
This 3-star self-catered property is situated just 50m from the resort centre and has recently been completely refurbished with modern airy apartments. Facilities at La Duit include free parking, free WiFi and ski lockers, and each apartment also has either a balcony or terrace.
Chalet Whymper, Chamonix
Chalet Whymper takes its name from the famous mountaineer Edward Whymper, and has been completely renovated. This well-located property sits in the heart of Chamonix and offers chic Scandanavian-style rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. Facilities and services at Chalet Whymper include a garden, a lounge area, afternoon tea & homemade cake, as well as an outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Le Génépy, Chamonix
With an ideal location in Chamonix, just a few steps from the shops and restaurants, the recently opened Le Génépy offers stays in modern apartments on a self-catered basis. Relax in the private courtyard or marvel at the great views from the apartment balconies or even the terrace of the cafe whilst enjoying your breakfast/lunch/aperitif!
Le Petit Mont Cenis, Termignon
The apartments at Le Petit Mont Cenis are situated 100m away from the nearest chairlift, and just a short walk from the centre of Termignon, an ideal location! The residence itself offers wonderful views over the Vanoise national park and the resort is perfect for skiers and non-skiers alike. Facilities include a reception area, free WiFi, and ski lockers.
Le Jardin, La Toussuire
This spacious 5 bedroom chalet (with alcove), offers guests everything they need for a comfortable winter break in La Toussuire. Situated in an ideal location with the nearest amenities just 200m away. The newly built Le Jardin is fully equipped, sleeping up to 14 people. Facilities include access to a private indoor heated pool, sauna, free WiFi, parking, and a furnished south-facing balcony.
New resorts on the programme
Le Corbier, Maurienne Valley
The uncrowded resort of Le Corbier makes up part of Les Sybelles 310km network of piste and is situated only 1 hour from Chambery in the heart of the Maurienne Valley. Le Corbier was awarded the Famille Plus label in 2006 thanks to the great facilities and activities, making it a welcoming environment for families, including; a dedicated sledging area, outdoor pool, snowpark and fun slopes, as well as an ample choice of shops, good bars, and restaurants. Most of the resort is also ski-in/ski-out, as well as pedestrianised. The resort has also heavily invested in the ski area recently, with the brand new Gaston Express chairlift opening for December 2020!
Stay at the brand new apartments at the l'Etoile des Sybelles, set at the foot of the slopes and opening for the 2020-21 winter season. The first of their kind in a ski resort, these unique apartments have been built using an environmentally friendly construction technique of modular blocks of timber! The residence also offers an indoor/outdoor pool with south-facing terrace and a cosy lounge area with bar.
Jura, Jura Mountains
The mountains in the Jura is made up of over 70 traditional French villages, and is situated on the Franco/Swiss border. These mountains include the Cret Pela at 1495m and form part of the Haut-Jura Regional Park. This region of the Alps is also home to Comte cheese, the first French cheese to receive AOP (Apellation d’Origine Protegee) recognition! This area is perfect for those looking for a gastronomic adventure, with a recommended visit to the famous restaurant the Arbez, whose kitchen is in Switzerland and dining room is in France! You can also ski in the largest ski resort of the Monts Jura with breathtaking views of Lake Geneva.
Stay in the luxury 5* Jiva Hill Resort, an exceptional hotel in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Park. The Relais & Chateaux property is nestled in a private estate of 98 acres, facing Mont Blanc and just 15 minutes from Geneva airport. Amongst the fantastic facilities at Jiva Hill Resort is a spacious 1000m2 spa area with outdoor and indoor pools, hot tub, sauna, steam, and Nordic spa. There are also 2 restaurants, bar, games room, cinema room, lounge area with fireplace, and free WiFi. Guests can access the skiing in the Jura mountains via a cable car up to the resort of Crozet Lelex, a 5-minute drive away.
Vars, Southern Alps
The traditional French ski resort of Vars is found in the Domaine de la Foret Blanche ski area, in the Southern Alps region, with access to up to 185km of slopes between 1850m 2750m altitude. The village boasts an average of 300 days of sunshine a year due to its optimal position in the French Alps. The resort runs along the valley and is made up of 4 hamlets, Sainte Marie being the largest and where the chair lift departs from for access to the skiing. The ski area offers much for beginner and intermediate skiers, as the whole area can be accessed by green or blue runs. There's also plenty of off-piste opportunities for experts! The resort also offers 7 different freestyle parks/areas, as well as tobogganing zones, hiking/snowshoe trails, and fat-biking routes!
Stay at Le Panorama Vars, a brand new superior 4-star self-catered residence opening in December for the 2020/21 winter season. The property is perfectly located at the bottom of the slopes and only 900m from the resort's great choice of shops, bars and restaurants. Le Panorama Vars is made up of several chalets each containing 1 or 2 luxury apartments. Each apartment is modern, spacious and fully-equipped. Facilities include a reception lounge area with fireplace, free WiFi, underground garage (payable), and ski lockers with heated boot racks.
Le Pre d'Anne Chloe, Samoens
Due to open for summer 2021, the small 3-star residence of Le Pre d'Anne Chloe is made up of beautiful self-catered apartments each with its own balcony or terrace. Situated in the quieter Moulins area of Samoens, the property is still only a few minutes walk from the village centre, and there is a shuttle bus nearby, which takes guests to the slopes (during the holidays).
Opening December 2021, the luxury residence L’Altima is set within a 3-hectare park, just 800m to the centre of Megeve and the slopes. The self-catered apartments and chalets at the residence offer views over surrounding peaks, including Mont-Blanc. Facilities include; pool & spa area, playroom/kid’s club, playground, and tapas bar are all planned.
Laska, Les Contamines
The 4* luxury residence Laska, opening December 2021, is located in a quiet area within walking distance of the village centre and has a view on the Mont Joly and ski slopes. Facilities include a reception area with fireplace, a wellness centre with indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam, and fitness room. Each apartment has a heated ski locker and a covered parking place.
Les Chalets de Joy, Le Grand Bornand
Opening for December 2022, the 4* luxury and modern residence is located at the foot of La Joyère gondola, close to the main village centre with great views. Facilities will include a reception lounge area with fireplace, a wellness centre with indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, steam, and fitness room. Each apartment has a heated ski locker and a covered parking place.
Les Clarines, Les Deux Alpes
Opening in December 2021, the 4-star Les Clarines residence enjoys an ideal location in the heart of the Clarines district of Les Deux Alpes with bars, restaurants, and shops a short 5 min walk away. Situated close to the slopes and ski lifts on the Vallee Blanche side and the main ski lift departure is just a short bus ride away. Facilities include; free access to heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool, wellness area (with hot tub, sauna, steam room, and treatments - payable), lounge area with fireplace, bar with terrace, restaurant, covered parking (payable), ski room, as well as childcare and kids clubs. The residence also hosts social meet ups on weekday evenings, as well as daily entertainment such as quizzes and interactive games.
Lodji Hotel, St Martin de Belleville
The charming 3-star Lodji Hotel is in a great location in St Martin de Belleville. This contemporarily renovated hotel is found at the bottom of the ski slopes and just 40m from the lift pass office, ski school and ski hire. The centre of the resort is 500m away down the steps. The Lodji Hotel has rooms offering great views of the slopes and mountains, as well as a cosy restaurant, sunny terrace, and other facilities include a ski room, outdoor hot tubs, and wellness area.
What was new last season?
Le Lodge des Neiges, Tignes 1800
This brand new 4* property for the 2019/20 season is in an ideal position in Tignes 1800 at the foot of the new Boisses gondola and offers ski-in/ski-out opportunities. These luxury spacious self-catered apartments are well fitted with modern facilities and stylish furnishings, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area with double sofa bed, and a balcony. Other facilities include a reception lounge area with fireplace, ski lockers, access to the indoor swimming pool and leisure centre, as well as the Ô des Cîmes Spa Centre (treatments payable), free WiFi (limited), and underground garage (payable).
Amaya, Les Saisies
Also newly built for the 2019/20 season is the 4* Amaya, a superior residence made up of 44 self-catered apartments just outside the centre of Les Saisies in the Mont Blanc and Chamonix valley. Amaya is perfectly situated on the Carrets piste offering ski-in/ski-out opportunities. Each apartment has been designed to a very high standard with spacious rooms and modern facilities such as a full equipped kitchen, bathroom or shower room with hairdryer, robes and slippers, free WiFi, and a balcony. Guests also have access to the private indoor pool and wellness area with hot tub, sauna and steam room.
Portes de Megève, Megève
This high-quality residence of just 18 luxury chalets and 7 chalet apartments is equidistant from the resorts of Megève and Praz-Sur-Arly - a free shuttle bus operates from the residence to the slopes of both resorts. Each apartment is well equipped, beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. Amenities here include a spa area with hammam and sauna, fitness room and a games room. Portes de Megève offers a concierge service. The apartments and chalets offer a wide choice of sizes, including very large interconnecting chalets with capacities of between 16 and 26 guests!
Les Balcons Etoiles, Champagny
Newly added to our programme, this high-quality 4* residence is perfectly situated in one of the best ski-in/ski-out locations in the resort of Champagny - just 150m from the village centre, and 50m from the nearest gondola and ski school meeting point! Les Balcons Etoiles was built for the 2018/19 season, with modern south-west facing apartments, all fully equipped and spacious. All apartments have a balcony (either south or west facing), comfortable living area with sofa bed, kitchen with added extras such as coffee maker and dishwasher, and free WiFi throughout!
Residence le Saphir, Vaujany
The exclusive brand-new apartments at 4* Saphir is ideally located in the heart of Vaujany, it's own selection of shops within the complex, and just 70m from the cable car. The spacious and comfortable self-catered apartments are well fitted and tastefully decorated, all with an open plan fully equipped kitchen, living area and dining space, as well as a private balcony or terrace. Facilities at the Saphir include free covered parking, ski lockers and free WiFi. The residence is south-west/south-east facing offering superb views of the surrounding mountains.
Hotel St Martin & Apartments, St Martin de Belleville
The excellent Hotel Saint Martin enjoys one of the most convenient and quiet locations at the top of the St Martin de Belleville, piste-side on the Biolley run, just 50m from the lift and ski school meeting point and still close to the resort’s facilities. For guests of the hotel, there's 2 restaurants, a cosy lounge/bar with fireplace (the cocktails are a must!), wellness area (with sauna, hammam and fitness - entrance included), as well as the spa offering massages and beauty treatments (payable locally). There's also ski-room with boot warmers and direct access to the piste.
Chalet Percy, Saint Gervais
This converted 150-year-old former shepherd’s dwelling has been lovingly restored into a very comfortable chalet in a secluded part of St Gervais, making it perfect base for a quiet ski retreat for couples and friends. Chalet Percy can be found in an exceptional position offering breath-taking views of the village and mountains, located on a wooded hillside above a small stream just 400m from the resort’s many shops and restaurants. This 3 bedroom chalet sleeps 6 people comfortably, offering cosy and inviting rooms with an especially homely feel in the open plan kitchen/dining and living area. The chalet is laid out over 3 floors, with a large terrace and shower room on the lower floor (with a planned extension to include a boot and utility room), the middle floor includes the open plan living area with TV and log burner, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and full length terrace, and the top floor with all 3 double bedrooms. Includes free parking for 2 vehicles.
New properties in Les Gets, Portes du Soleil
We have introduced several additional properties to our programme for this season in Les Gets. Firstly, the 4-star Residence K2 offers everything needed for a comfortable and convenient ski holiday. Positioned at the entrance to Les Gets just 200m from the Perrières chairlift, with a ski bus stop, shop and restaurants within 150m. Facilities include free indoor parking, ski lockers and WiFi. Next there is Chalets Kailash, offering 4-star self catered apartments in a quiet location in Les Gets, also near the Perrières chairlift. These spacious apartments offer guests a comfortable winter holiday in the Portes du Soleil ski area and include free outdoor parking. Finally, Chalet Delphine 7 is a newly-built stylish chalet (opened summer 2019) sleeping up to 15 guests. The chalet overlooks the resort and above some woodland with superb unobstructed views towards the Mont-Chéry and is still only 250m from the pistes and the village centre. The high-quality apartments at Residence Kilimandjaro are situated 600m from the Chavannes Express and 800m from the Mont Chery gondola. There's a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops within 400m and the apartments are fitted and furnished to a very good standard with free covered parking and free WiFi throughout.
Well located with a very short transfer time (35 minutes from Grenoble airport) is the lively village of Villard de Lans. The Villard-Corrençon skiing area is the largest and highest of all the Alpine areas of the Vercors. The resort offers a varied range of pistes for all abilities, ranging from slopes for beginners to the iconic Carole Montillet black piste. There's an excellent ski park with various luge activities on edge of village and a decent size Nordic Park - one of the largest in Europe! This ski destination is perfect for families with pedestrianised streets, a market, shops, a wave pool, an indoor ice rink, an exceptional sledging space, a bowling alley, a casino, a museum and other amenities that are busy round the year. Stay in the 3* Le Splendid, an historic Grand Siècle hotel which has been completely renovated and transformed into quality self-catered apartments.
Well connected to nearby Saint Gervais and Megève, St Nicolas de Véroce is a small pretty mountain village in the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. This quaint and charming village is very well positioned in the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, with 445km of piste to enjoy! The traditional ski village is at an altitude of 1180m, and has historic features such as old farming buildings and a beautiful church. The brand new 5* Hotel Armancette offers a luxurious base for a ski holiday in St Nicolas de Véroce. This stylishly understated hotel is just 100m from the nearest slopes and the Chef Lieu lift, and guests can also enjoy the stunning views of Mont Blanc from the terrace! Other facilities include a gastronomic restaurant, wine bar, tea room, bakery, wellness centre (with heated indoor and outdoor pool, Jacuzzis, sauna, hammam, fitness rooms, and treatments rooms), ski lockers, and free WiFi!
The small charming and typically French ski resort of Les 7 Laux in Isère is extremely well located, just 35 minutes from Grenoble airport! The purpose-built resort is made up of 3 lift-linked villages and has its own ski area offering 120km of piste up to 2400m altitude, with beautiful tree lined runs below 2000m. The resort has one of the best rated snow-parks in France, sitting at 1900m suitable for all levels. The large Nordic park in the resort offers 25km total of cross-country trails suitable for nordic skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. The 4* superior Les Granges des 7 Laux ski-in/ski-out self-catered apartments are located in the resort village of Prapoutel. Situated just 200m from the local shops, bars and restaurants and the main chairlift adjacent to the residence, it is in a great position! Facilities include wellness centre with pool, on-site restaurant (breakfast and half-board also available), free underground parking, and WiFi access.
Corrençon and Villard de Lans share the same ski area, with Corrençon being the smaller village of the two, making it a perfect choice for those wanting a more relaxing ski break in a quieter location. As with Villard de Lans, Corrençon is a convenient chocie for flyers as its a mere 35 minute transfer from Grenoble airport. The resort offers wonderful skiing with varied terrain across 125km of slopes and a decent sized Nordic area. Stay at the Hotel du Golf, a Peak Retreats 3-star superior rated boutique hotel. Family run, this well-established hotel enjoys a quiet countryside setting 2kms from the centre of the resort and 800m from the Hauts Plateaux cross-country ski area. Facilities include lounge bar, small wellness area with hot tub and sauna, ski room, free private car park, and a highly regarded gastronomic restaurant.
Opening December 2021, the luxury residence l’Altima will be set within a 3-hectare park located in Les Vériaz district, just 800m from the village centre and slopes (a shuttle bus service is planned). The spacious apartments and private chalets will benefit from panoramic views of surrounding peaks, including of Mont-Blanc, with facilities including private sauna and wood burner. A pool and spa area, playroom/kid’s club, outdoor playground and a snow line for children starting skiing, as well as a tapas bar are all planned.
Le Pré d'Anne Chloë, Samoens
These newly built apartments, opening for summer 2021, have everything needed for a comfortable ski holiday! The small residence is located in the peaceful Moulins area of the resort, just a short walk from the centre. Each apartment has a balcony/terrace and ski locker, free parking and free WiFi.
