A great ski company with charismatic villages and a slice of rural France.
This is a really tiny resort. You'll have everything on the doorstep but it's not for those that want a party. It is great for families with young children.
Manigod has a special place in my heart as it was the first place I visited in the French Alps. As a child, I stayed there on a French holiday camp for school children (a Colonie de Vacances). When we arrived it was after dark. I remember throwing open the shutters the next morning and having my breath taken away by the stunning mountain views. I still have a postcard that I sent home to my parents describing the beautiful village.
