Located in the quiet Les Balcons area of the lively ski resort of Val Thorens, Chalet Val 2400 is just 150m from the ski slopes. It is possible to ski back to within this short distance of the residence for confident skiers (*), however, please aware that this route is not suitable for beginners, who can return to within 300m of the residence and then walk the remaining distance.

The nearest ski lift is a mere 300m away from the residence. Access to the slopes from the residence is 300m (a 5-10 minute walk downhill), whilst the resort centre of Val Thorens itself and the Ecole de Ski Francais (ESF) ski school are a 15-20 minute walk downhill (allow a little longer to walk back!). There is a mini supermarket and restaurants just 20m away.
Chalet Val 2400 is a 4-star residence built in the traditional Savoyard style. There are 27 self-catering ski apartments in total, all offering outstanding views over the resort and ski slopes from their balconies.

Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Chalet Val 2400 has private underground parking or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable & pre-bookable).

Fully equipped apartment, bed linen with beds made on arrival (except for beds in the living room: only bed linen and blankets are provided), pillows, towels with mid-week change (1 small & 1 large towel per person), 1 cleaning kit (tea towel, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 sponge, 1 cloth, washing-up liquid & multi-purpose cleaner), end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area, dishes, bins & balcony).
The loan of cots and highchairs (request at time of booking, cot mattress and linen not provided), baby bath, bottle warmer, raclette and fondue sets is also possible (all subject to availability).

Local Tourist Tax: approx. €2.86pp/day (18yrs+, guiding fare) for 2025,
