The nearest ski lift is a mere 300m away from the residence. Access to the slopes from the residence is 300m (a 5-10 minute walk downhill), whilst the resort centre of Val Thorens itself and the Ecole de Ski Francais (ESF) ski school are a 15-20 minute walk downhill (allow a little longer to walk back!). There is a mini supermarket and restaurants just 20m away.
Chalet Val 2400 is a 4-star residence built in the traditional Savoyard style. There are 27 self-catering ski apartments in total, all offering outstanding views over the resort and ski slopes from their balconies.

Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residences car park or one of the public car parks in the resort, you are not allowed to park in the street. Chalet Val 2400 has private underground parking or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable & pre-bookable).
December 2024Val Thorens - another great holiday. This time in Chalet Val 2000 - check in efficient and the apartment was extremely clean. Internet connection excellent.
The loan of cots and highchairs (request at time of booking, cot mattress and linen not provided), baby bath, bottle warmer, raclette and fondue sets is also possible (all subject to availability).
All the spacious self-catering apartments at Chalet Val 2400 in Val Thorens are fitted and furnished to a very good standard of comfort and convenience. The interiors are very traditional, creating a cosy chalet atmosphere. They have a fully equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee-maker, toaster and kettle. Chalet Cocoon is a small, exclusive residence of just 10 self-catered apartments offering superb views and ski-in/ski-out convenience. Chalets Cocoon is ideally situated in the Balcons area of Val Thorens, just 300m from the centre of the resort.
4* Le Hameau du Kashmir is ideally located at the entrance of Val Thorens, just metres from the mid station ski lifts, offering you ski-in/ski-out possibilities (snow and level depending) onto the Plein Sud ski slope. The resort centre, shops and sports centre are only 5 minutes walk or a short shuttle-bus ride away.
Koh-i Nor in Val Thorens is an impressive modern 4* luxury ski residence, located on the Plein Sud ski slope offers doorstep skiing (snow and level depending) however please be aware that it is a blue slope out and back, so not ideal for complete beginners.

This prestigious residence is south-facing and located directly on the slopes offering ski-in/ski-out opportunities (for more experienced skiers, and subject to snow conditions) and is 500m from the Val Thorens resort centre. Ski school meeting points are a short walk then a ski away.
Located in the quiet district of Les Balcons in the lively ski resort of Val Thorens, Chalet Altitude is just 150m from the ski slopes. It is possible to ski back to within this short distance of the residence for confident skiers (*), however, please be aware that this route is not really suitable for beginners, who can return to within 300m of the residence and then walk the remaining distance.
