Options range from modern residences like Le Serra Neva and Cristal Lodge to more traditional stays such as Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc and chalet-style hotels. This variety makes it suitable for couples, families and larger groups.
Several properties are located close to lifts or offer excellent access. Grand Hotel Serre Chevalier sits at the foot of the slopes, while Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc allows you to ski back close to the residence depending on snow. Other residences are within short walking distance or shuttle ride of lifts.
True ski-in/ski-out options are limited, but Le Grand Aigle Hotel & Spa offers doorstep skiing access depending on conditions, and several properties are very close to lifts. Many residences also provide convenient shuttle bus services or easy walking access to slopes.
Grand Hotel Serre Chevalier and Le Grand Aigle Hotel & Spa offer a more premium experience, including spa facilities, refined interiors and central locations. Cristal Lodge also provides modern, stylish accommodation with added wellness features.

Accommodation is spread across villages including Chantemerle and Villeneuve, both offering excellent access to lifts and amenities. Centrally located properties such as Cristal Lodge and Grand Hotel Serre Chevalier provide convenient bases close to restaurants, shops and slopes.
Aquisana is located in a quieter area of Villeneuve, offering a more relaxed setting slightly away from main lifts. This is ideal for guests looking for a peaceful stay while still remaining close to the ski area.
Its combination of large ski area, excellent sunshine and a range of different village atmospheres makes it stand out. It provides extensive skiing without the crowds and intensity of some larger, more commercial resorts.
Serre Chevalier is made up of several linked villages spread along a sunny valley, including Chantemerle, Villeneuve and Monêtier-les-Bains. These are share the same ski area, just accessed from different points along the valley.
They are all connected by lifts and a regular shuttle bus service, giving access to the full ski area while offering slightly different atmospheres and accommodation styles depending on where you stay.
Chantemerle is one of the main villages in Serre Chevalier and sits at the foot of the slopes, making it very convenient for skiing. Properties such as Cristal Lodge, Le Hameau du Rocher Blanc and Grand Hotel Serre Chevalier offer central locations close to lifts, shops and restaurants, making this area ideal for easy access and a lively resort feel.

Chantemerle and Villeneuve both offer a good selection of restaurants, bars and amenities. Villeneuve combines purpose-built convenience with a lively resort centre.
Lift passes cover the Serre Chevalier ski area, offering access to around 250km of pistes across the valley. Lift passes can be pre-booked with us, allowing you to avoid queuing and budget more effectively before arrival.
We recommend ESF Serre Chevalier, offering lessons for children and adults of all levels. Group and private lessons can be arranged. Early booking is strongly advised, especially during peak weeks, as availability can be limited.
Booking your ski essentials in advance is key, particularly during busy periods. Lesson times may change and availability can be limited closer to departure, so early planning helps ensure a smoother and more organised ski holiday.
