By the final afternoon, we are all able to ski together. This excites me far more than the girls, who tell me off for going on about how great it is. We manage to ski the Tignes Loop - a route that starts at the Palafour lift and winds around Val Claret via the Merles chair before taking you back down to the other side of Le Lac...it's the perfect run for the kids. All blues, all in the sunshine and with some stunning views to enjoy.
Tignes has long been a big favourite of mine, it’s impossible not to be in awe of its endless white slopes and vibrant resort life. There is something for everyone here whether your thing is slowly cruising on gentle blues or adrenaline rush of off piste.
Tignes was on my love to ski list, and it did not disappoint. Though it was truly end of season, we were lucky with some overnight snowfall and despite being your classic spring heavy snow it was still a great ski day. Being the first people skiing down a black run after the Pisteurs was amazing, just floating on untouched powder!
Le Caveau, underground wine bar and restaurant with great live music, very French, good fun.
The location of Ynycio is perfect for keen skiers.

We recommend ESF Tignes, offering group lessons for children and adults as well as private lessons. All lessons can be pre-booked with us, and early booking is strongly advised, particularly during peak periods to secure preferred times.
