Hermine in Val Thorens is located in a quiet district, yet is still close to many of the amenities. The slopes are only 200m away, offering doorstep skiing* (for a non-beginner skier) and the possibility to ski back to within 100m of the main entrance of the residence via the Retour/Plein Sud slope. These self-catering ski apartments are located in two chalets made from traditional stone and wood and offer wonderful southern views of the valley and the ski area. The residence is officially rated 4-star.

Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen apartment or hotel and then you must park your vehicle in the residence’s car park or one of the public car parks in the resort; you are not allowed to park in the street. Chalet des Neiges Hermine has covered parking (payable) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable and pre-bookable).
The loan of highchairs, cots and raclette/fondue sets is also possible (subject to availability).
All the stylish self-catering apartments at Chalet des Neiges Hermine in Val Thorens are fitted and furnished to a good standard of comfort and convenience. With a traditional solid wood interior, warm colours and a very homely feel, these apartments have all the comfort you need to enjoy your stay. They all have a fully equipped kitchenette with 4-ring hob and extractor fan, electric oven (except 2 bed apartments for 4), microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle, electric coffee maker and toaster, satellite TV, telephone with direct line (calls payable), safe and a south-facing balcony or terrace. Bathroom, wc. En-suite bathroom/shower rooms are open to the bedroom or separated by a curtain.

4* Le Hameau du Kashmir is ideally located at the entrance of Val Thorens, just metres from the mid station ski lifts, offering you ski-in/ski-out possibilities (snow and level depending) onto the Plein Sud ski slope. The resort centre, shops and sports centre are only 5 minutes walk or a short shuttle-bus ride away.
Koh-i Nor in Val Thorens is an impressive modern 4* luxury ski residence, located on the Plein Sud ski slope offers doorstep skiing (snow and level depending) however please be aware that it is a blue slope out and back, so not ideal for beginners.
4* L’Oxalys is located at the entrance of Val Thorens in a quiet and sunny area with gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, right beside the ski slopes offering you ski-in/ski-out possibilities (snow and level depending).

It is possible to ski back to within this short distance of the residence for confident skiers (*), however, please be aware that this route is not really suitable for beginners, who can return to within 300m of the residence and then walk the remaining distance.
