March 2022The accommodations were excellent - biggest lounge/diner we’ve ever had. Space for everyone, would recommend to larger families or 2 families with a child each.

All apartments are spacious, very comfortable and tastefully decorated in contemporary style with a few Alpine touches; all have an open-plan kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, satellite TV and sofa bed sleeping 2; balcony. Shower room and wc.

Prices include (provisional):
Fully equipped apartment; bed linen (beds made on arrival except sofa bed in lounge), towels, end of stay cleaning (except kitchen and washing up); WiFi; cleaning kit; one covered parking space per apartment (to be pre-booked); baby equipment - cot and highchair (to be pre-booked).
To pay locally (provisional):
- Local tourist tax c.€4.40pp/day (over 18yrs),
- Cautionary deposit €600-€1000 (by credit card depending on apartment type),
- Cleaning of kitchen area and washing up €80,
- To hire: extra set of bed linen €10/bed, extra towels €8pp,
- Pets welcome €70/week (max 1/apt, pre-booking essential. Pets must be vaccinated, microchipped, and travel with their health record).
Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.

Located close to the 1800 chairlift (80m), Cocoon chalets is a group of 4 very well-equipped cosy chalets with quality furnishings in a quiet area of Plagne 1800. The chalets benefit from a pleasant view on the Mont Blanc and the resort while being close to the centre of the resort (approx 200m away), the slopes and ESF ski school (approx 100m away). There is public parking approx 80m away.
