Les Chalets de Flambeau is a Directors' Choice residence.
Les Chalets de Flambeau is a 4* residence ideally located in a sunny setting at the foot of the slopes, by the Pré Novel chairlift and the ski school meeting point. Chalets de Flambeau is mid-way between the village centres of Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard. The ski school and lift pass desks are located in the residence, by the chairlift.
Les Chalets de Flambeau offers 160 apartments combining traditional Savoyard architecture with high-standard and modern facilities.
Facilities at Les Chalets de Flambeau include:

Free access to the 'wellness area' including private indoor heated pool and for children, there is a good-size paddling pool; the over 16’s may use the hot tub, saunas, steam rooms and fitness room,

Prices include :
Fully equipped apartment, bed linen (beds made on arrival except sofa bed in lounge), towels, tea towel, cleaning kit and end of stay cleaning (excl kitchen area and washing up).
The loan of cots (cot linen not provided), high chairs, changing mats, socket guards and bottle warmer (all subject to availability, max 1 of each per apartment; state at time of booking), board games, fondue, pierrade and raclette sets is available from Reception.

Local tourist tax approx. €1.90pp/day over 18yrs/day,

Being so close to the ski lifts means it is also just feet from the ski school meeting point – anyone with young children will appreciate the joy of this proximity. It is also a few steps away from the small supermarket, boulangerie, ski shop and restaurant.
However, it is much more than just a good location. Les Chalets de Flambeau has its own swimming pool and spa – ideal for easing aching muscles after a day on the slopes.
And one of the great joys, for me anyway, is having the option to order fresh croissants and baguettes to be delivered straight to our apartment every morning.
Val Cenis was excellent for anyone on first time ski trip. Lovely green runs to practice on for adults & children... Thank you Peak Retreats for your recommendation on resort for first time skiing grandchildren. Couldn't have been any better.

Val Cenis is the only resort I have been to that has no significant lift queues at half term. This alone makes it the perfect family ski trip. The ambience, terrain and culture are an added bonus.
