Skiing in Morzine: There are lots of lightly wooded slopes in the local Morzine area, so bad weather rarely causes a problem. You can find open areas higher up and the ki resort has a large floodlit area with skiing, tubing and big air that remains open until 10pm. Reaching Avoriaz from Morzine can be done easily by either a cable car from the hamlet of Les Prodains, reached by free ski-bus from Morzine, provides the quickest and most direct link to Avoriaz.

The Upper Slopes row shows the average snow cover in cm at the top of the ski area. The Lower Slopes row shows the average snow cover in cm at the bottom of the ski area (this is usually where the nursery pistes are located). About 10 cm is generally enough to ski but it very much depends on what’s below ie. grass or more rocky surface.
