1. Les Saisies

2. Chamonix
Described as the birthplace of mountaineering and a hikers paradise, Chamonix has been a major alpine centre since the 19th century and is one of the most visited natural sites in the world. The traditional mountain town is set at the foot of the famous Mont Blanc and has over 100 bars, shops and restaurants.
There is such a number of activities in Chamonix that will leave you spoilt for choice for things to do! From practising like the pros on the Olympic ice rink, picking one of the 46 sports activities to do, completing the scenic 18-hole golf course, to taking a hike on one of the 430km of trails, you and the family will really not be short on ideas!

3. Morzine
The historic resort of Morzine is a great choice for those that want the best of both worlds with tradition combined with modernity. Morzine dates back to the 16th century with its own Gallic identity, however, includes some of the best bars, restaurants and evening entertainment in the region.
For an entirely different experience, Morzine offers guided trekking with donkeys, aqua hikes, underground caves exploration and so much more! As well as this, Morzine is known as every mountain bikers dream due to being at the forefront of the alpine MTB scene thanks to its highly developed network of trails.
For the days where you feel like exploring further afield, Portes du Soleil offers a multipass which lets you enjoy a whole host of activities either for free or at a reduced rate, in 12 village resorts, for just €3 per day.

4. Tignes
Tignes is a great resort for those that love an active summer holiday. As well as the usual suspects; beautiful hiking and mountain biking, the resort has a natural lake, which means it can offer a range of watersports - ideal for cooling off - try stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, or take out a pedal boat. For a dose of adrenaline, there's Acroland, where you can whizz down a 6m, 9m or 12m slide on an inflatable buoy and fly into the lake!
The 'My Tignes' pass gives access to an array of actvities, including trampolining, slackline, beach volleyball, tennis, archery and mini-golf and is great for when you can't quite decide ! You can choose from a pass that gives access to activities over 3, 7, 14 or 21 days.

5. Annecy
In the convenient location, close to Italy and Switzerland at an altitude of 447m, Annecy is renowned for its beautiful landscape and for having the purest water in Europe. Annecy is often referred to as the 'French Venice' with its medieval town, small canals and flower-decked quays.
There are plenty of activities combined with cultural history in Annecy including museum tours, castles, exhibitions, water activities, cycling and so much more. For a different experience, visit the Palais de l'Isle which was built in the 12th century and was once a prison, it has a fabulous view of the old town too.
