The former lift station on the Tête de Solaise was skillfully and lovingly converted into a luxury hotel– at 2551m, the highest in the French Alps: the Refuge de Solaise is the most exciting hotel development in Val d’Isère in recent times, and probably one of the most challenging and ambitious in the Tarentaise for many years.

The hotel enjoys a truly unique position, some 800m above the resort, on a sunny plateau with breathtaking 360° views. The Refuge de Solaise is the ultimate ski-in/ski-out hotel, perfect for keen skiers, especially couples – no queuing for the early lift, and certainly no problem being the first to sample the early morning powder!
This is the perfect luxury treat; to spend a night or two in this hotel. Or longer if you wish! It's a real bucket list experience. So unique. Access to the hotel in winter is exclusively via the Solaise gondola, open from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Recommended parking in the resort is at the Parking du Centre, from where it is a 150m walk to the lift accessing the hotel.
