The inspiration for this new landmark property was drawn from the Native American culture of the thousand-year-old village of Taos in New Mexico, recognised by UNESCO as a heritage site of world interest. The views over the resort and the surrounding Aiguille Percée and Grande Sassière from le Taos are truly amazing. The design of the Taos is a subtle mix of mountain style and modern comforts.
Comprising both hotel and self-catering accommodation, Le Taos offers a perfect solution to every skier’s accommodation needs, whether a hotel formula with daily cleaning and breakfast or a fully independent stay in an apartment suite with just end-of-stay cleaning included and optional breakfasts as you please.

Tignes is a semi-pedestrian ski resort, meaning you can drive through the resort and unload your luggage at your chosen accommodation and then you must park your vehicle in the Hotel car park or one of the public car parks in the resort -- you are not allowed to park in the street. Le Taos has underground parking (must be pre-booked, for standard car, subject to availability, height 2.1m but width of entrance 1.9m, payable locally) or you can use one of the public outdoor or covered car parks (payable).

For hotel guests: Bed and Buffet Breakfast; daily cleaning, daily change of towels (on request), one bathrobe and pair of slippers per person, one large towel per stay; Wi-Fi (1 free access in room), hair dryer, coffee machine using pods and kettle, unlimited access to the swimming pool and spa area between 10.00 and 20.00, steam room (15.00-20.00), safe. All rooms are non-smoking.
For apartment guests: Fully equipped apartment, bed linen with beds made on arrival, towels (2 per person) with mid-stay change (on request), one bathrobe, one pool towel and one pair of slippers per person for the spa area, end of stay cleaning (excluding kitchen area & dishes), kitchen kit including 2 tea towels, TV, Wi-Fi internet (1 free access) and unlimited access to the pool and spa area between 10.00 and 20.00, steam room (15.00-20.00).
The loan of cots (cot linen and mattress not included), highchairs (request at time of booking), is also possible (subject to availability).

The Jam Bar is small, informal and has a great atmosphere for apres.
Le Taos apartments and hotel are amazing - views and decor spectacular - L’Escale Blanche is really good, Les Planches is next level for food, do the menu degustation and wine flight at least once!
