Beginners

Tignes les Brévières is an excellent choice for beginners. There is a dedicated nursery slope in the village with a free drag lift, creating a safe and calm learning environment.

Above the village, a network of tree-lined green and blue runs provides ideal terrain for progression. These slopes are sheltered and quiet, making them perfect for building confidence before heading higher into the ski area.

Intermediates

Intermediate skiers can quickly access the full Tignes Val d'Isère area via the lift system. There is a huge choice of blue and red runs, including long cruising pistes and varied terrain across multiple sectors.

The link to higher altitude skiing ensures reliable conditions and allows intermediates to explore new areas every day.

Advanced

Advanced skiers will find extensive challenge across the wider area. From steep black runs to vast off-piste terrain, there are countless options.

The Vallon de la Sache descent back into the village is a highlight, offering a long and demanding run with significant vertical drop. Glacier skiing and high-mountain terrain add further variety.

Mountain fun zones

Across Tignes, there are numerous fun zones including snowparks, boardercross and playful runs. These are easily accessible and cater to all levels, particularly families.

Nordic skiing

Around 44km of cross-country trails are available across the resort, including scenic routes near the lake and through forested areas. There is a challenging trail from Tignes les Brévières, which winds around the Lac de Tignes (rather than the lake in Tignes le Lac!), where you'll be surrounded by trees.

Outdoor adventure and experiences

Tignes les Brévières provides access to the full range of Tignes activities, including snowshoeing, paragliding and snowmobiling.

From Tignes les Brevières you can try the ice driving circuit. Dog sled rides also leave from this part of the resort. Huskies, Samoyeds and Malamutes will pull your sled for a breathtaking ride over the frozen lake. Horse-drawn carriage runs and horseriding are also possible.

The surrounding natural setting makes it ideal for exploring quieter mountain areas, while adrenaline activities are easily accessible across the resort.

Family-friendly fun

Families can enjoy sledging area, and if you're in Tignes le Lac in the day, don't miss Aventure Park, an aerial assault course.

Tignes les Brevières also boasts a eco-oriented play zone with igloos, and Lapland style huts where you can experience campfires, play giant games, toboggan racing and even try axe throwing, biathlon and laser tag in the forest.

The quieter nature of the village makes it a comfortable base for children.

Shops in the village are limited, but nearby Tignes 1800 offers additional facilities including a supermarket, with a good deli counter, bakery and ski hire.
