Owners Françoise & Olivier Deffaugt take pride in welcoming guests to their charming family-run chalet hotel located just a short walk away from the centre and its shops. With extensive use of exposed timber and bright pinewood, the hotel and small residence with its 14 self-catering studio apartments are beautifully presented, combining the feel of a traditional Alpine chalet with excellent modern comfort.
Facilities include a leisure area with indoor and outdoor swimming-pools, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, fitness room, massage treatments, games room (table football, table tennis and pinball), billiard room, a cosy bar and a large landscaped garden with heated swimming pool (open 8/6-14/9), tennis courts, petanque area, children’s play area, free parking and a garage (€15/night/car, limited spaces).
Breakfast and evening meals can also be taken at the hotel for a supplement (payable locally). The restaurant serves a refined traditional Savoyard cuisine with a daily-changing menu and a copious buffet breakfast.
Neige & Roc Hotel was excellent.
The 30 prettily decorated and well-appointed bedrooms are spread over three floors, each with a balcony offering views of the valley and mountains. A choice of twins, doubles or interconnecting rooms is available - all en-suite. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price. Full board basis is also available on request at a supplement.
2 suites (c 45m2) with a king size double bed or two 1 metre wide beds, a living room with a sofa bed, bathroom with bath and Italian-style shower and a spacious walk-in closet.
The tastefully arranged studio apartments sleep 2-4 in 22/28m2 and have a double bed or 2 single beds, an extra sofa bed and a small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, 2-ring electric hob, a bathroom with bath/WC and a balcony. A studio with extra en-suite bedroom is also available (balcony in each room).
