Combloux opens from 22/12/2012 to 01/04/2013 (Portes du Mont Blanc ski area [Combloux, Megeve Le Jaillet, La Giettaz, Cordon] shuts on 1st April 13. Between 1st April and 6th April, you can take the bus from Combloux to Megeve centre and there you can ski Evasion Mont Blanc [Megeve, St Gervais, St Nicolas]. After 7th April you will need a car to drive to Megeve)

2 safe sledge areas are located in Combloux, the first one in la Cry, at the bottom of the ski runs and the second one in Cuchet.
They are both free access and under the responsibility of the parents.

Heliski

Heliski with Combloux Megeve Company, in collaboration with "Mont Blanc Hélicoptères", escape for a few hours to the untouched slopes of the Swiss and Italian alps and experience some intense descents on virgin snow.
Several descents are possible with different orientations depending on the snow cover and amount of sunshine at the time.
Mont-Blanc Helicoptère covers the transfers to the sites from Megève altitude airfield as well as transfers between resorts, opening out a wide range of skiing areas: Courchevel, Val d'Isere, Chamonix Grands Montets and Grand Massif.

Getting around Combloux

During lift service, a ski bus runs free between centre of the village (behind Tourist Office) and the pistes (Cry car park). Approx. every 30 mins from 08h15 to 17h30 (during February until 18h).

Vallee Blanche

Nordic Skiing

Beautiful tracks for skating or classic will take you through the 33 km of marked trails of the resort. Megève gives you a choice of routes ranging from the very introduction to loops techniques. One area is paid - Cote Livraz-2000.
Runs: 3 plain Arly km, Cassioz Praz sur Arly-5 km, Mont d'Arbois Encraty-7 km, Cote Livraz-2000 18 km.

Heli-Ski

Prohibited in France, Heliski drops are still possible in other areas, particularly in the Valle d'Aosta (Italy) and in the Valais (Switzerland). Away from the pistes and the crowd of lifts, they’ll drop you for a few hours on the slopes of virgin Swiss Alps and Italian descent for a rare intensity.
It is possible to consider several runs with different orientations depending on sunlight and snow conditions at the time.
2 rotations in general suitable for skiers to spend a good day. A meal in a safe altitude allows for a pleasant stop for the lunch break.
