Ski Train to the French Alps

For those of you who prefer to leave their car at home and enjoy some of France’s prettiest landscapes, the train is a good alternative. We can arrange two train options – direct Ski Train or Eurostar + French high-speed TGV (with a change at Paris).

Ski Train

The ski train will run from 19 December 2015 to 9 April 2016. Travel from London St Pancras (or Ashford International) direct to Moutiers or Bourg St Maurice. You can either travel on Friday night or Saturday morning (arriving in time for an evening meal). Return Saturday morning or night. Please note these are NOT sleeper trains.

A tip for those in the know: If you travel on the direct night train to the French Alps both ways, you'll get two extra days on your skis. You'll arrive on Saturday morning and leave on Saturday evening, beating the flying crowd and having the slopes all to yourself on change over day.

Night trains from London run from 1 January 2016 to 1 April 2016.
Day trains from London run from 19 December 2015 to 2 April 2016.
Night trains from Bourg St Maurice run from 2 January 2016 to 9 April 2016.
Day trains from Bourg St Maurice run from 26 December 2015 to 9 April 2016.

Bourg St Maurice serves the Paradiski and Espace Killy areas well (Paradiski – Peisey-Vallandry (Les Arcs), Montchavin-Les Coches (La Plagnes + Espace Killy – Tignes (Les Brevieres, 1800), Sainte-Foy + La Rosiere).
Moutiers is suited to the 3 Valleys ski area and part of Paradiski (Paradiski – Champagny + 3 Valleys – Brides les Bains(Meribel).
