Ski Train to the French Alps

"We found the train a revelation and would definitely book again"

Mrs G (11 Mar 15)

What a help for Peak Retreats to organise all our travel and extras so diligently. They even organised train travel for us and kept us updated when there was disruption on the way back. Everything worked perfectly, and made the organisation of the holiday on our part a doddle.
Mrs F (18 Apr 15)

For those who prefer to leave the car at home and enjoy some of France’s prettiest landscapes, the train is a great alternative. We can arrange two train options – Direct Ski Train or Eurostar + French high-speed TGV (with a change at Paris).

Ski Train

The snow train will run from 19 December 2015 to 9 April 2016. Travel from London St Pancras or Ashford International direct to Moutiers or Bourg St Maurice. You can either travel on Friday night or Saturday morning (arriving in time for an evening meal). Return Saturday morning or night. Please note these are NOT sleeper trains.

Ski Train Tip

For those in the know: If you travel on the direct night train to the French Alps both ways, you'll get two extra days on your skis. You'll arrive on Saturday morning and leave on Saturday evening, beating the flying crowd and having the slopes all to yourself on change over day.
