Situated at the foot of Mont-Blanc, the spa resort of Saint-Gervais has attracted tourists since 1806 and today is popular with discerning skiers. Set in a narrow river gorge halfway between Megève and Chamonix, the landscape is impressive wherever you look.
The small alpine town of Saint Gervais offers diverse après-ski and an excellent selection of interesting food shops, cosy bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Every Thursday morning in Saint Gervais village there is a superb genuine market.
Among Saint Gervais’ attractions are thermal baths with spa treatments, a cinema, casino, and many outdoor activities available such as an Olympic skating rink or unforgettable snowshoe walks. A trip up the mountain on the Mont Blanc Tramway is not to be missed.

The daycare is located in a beautiful setting, throughout the winter season, from 18/12/11 to 13/04/2012, your children aged 6 months to 9 years. It has a capacity of 35 seats.
Its location is on the slopes. The nursery also caters to arrange lunch for your children from 4 to 9 years who take ski lessons at the French ski school Saint-Gervais.

Skiing on the Mont Blanc side of Saint-Gervais is served by a rack-and-pinion 1904 railway that takes you to the slopes of Les Houches (where there is another 55km of slopes). ST GERVAIS BEGINNERS For beginners, take the main gondola from the resort centre (next to Le Grand Panorama residence) up to an area called Le Bettex. Le Bettex is a great area for beginners with nursery slopes to learn on. There are also many tree-lined scenic slopes to progress on (greens and blues) above the Megeve area. The slopes lead directly from St Gervais to Megeve. ST GERVAIS INTERMEDIATES This area is particularly recommended for good intermediates with long reds and blues through scenic locations. Directly above the town on Mont d’Arbois and Mont Joly are some great intermediates slopes. ST GERVAIS EXPERTS & OFF-PISTE The Mont Joly and Mont Joux sections offer the steepest slopes where some good off-piste can also be found. Ski School: Lesson times are subject to change right until the last minute. Outside French school holidays the ski school reserves the right to cancel group lessons should numbers be insufficient. For peak periods (23/12-6/1, 16/2-16/3 & 14/4-21/4) we strongly recommend that you book as early as possible and in any case at least 6 weeks prior to the required dates. Morning lessons tend to get booked up first and therefore we may only be able to offer afternoon classes within 6 weeks of departure. In some resorts English speaking instructors may not always be available, particularly at peak times.
