To reserve, you should be aware of Rules complete, sign, and return to the Souris Verte the Registration form, the mandatory deposit check (payable to the Treasury), and a photocopy of the page of the Health on the DTP.

Registration will be recorded and will be confirmed by mail upon receipt of documented.

Situated 5 minutes from Les Carroz village, the club offers a wide range of activities to children, during the day. Please note that the club works with both skiing schools. The club has its own minibus, which takes the children to and from their skiing lessons.

Tariffs 12/13: Full Day: €32 (including meal and snack). Half day €17.50 (no meal), 5 day pass (Mon-Fri): €128, 6 days: €160.

There are a limited number of places: 40 children.                                          

Good English is spoken by at least two members of the staff anytime.

In order to book the club for your children, please send a letter direct to the creche with the subscription form, a copy of vaccinations, the dates of your stay and a 28.50€ pre-payment cheque.

The club is open from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday and from Monday to Sunday during French school holidays. Weekend bookings are compulsory!

- Morning welcome: from 8:30 to 9:30 am
- Half-day morning departure time: from 11:30am to 12:noon.
- Afternoon welcome: from 1:30 to 2:pm
- Half-day afternoon departure time: from 5: to 6:30 pm

The club offers various indoor and outdoor activities: snow games, sports games, entertainment and activities organised by the Tourist Office.
They organise the transfers to and from ski lessons of both Les Carroz ski schools as follows:

- morning ski lessons: Ski schools' meeting with parents, the club organise transfer, meal and afternoon activities

- afternoon ski lessons: Ski schools' meeting with the club, parents pick their child up after the ski lessons.

To avoid your child staying wet all day, please, leave a bag with clothes and shoes (Shoes, socks, underwear, trousers, tee-shirt, sweater, gloves and hat...)

By Road: Driving distance from Calais to Les Carroz 539 miles (approx 7hrs 30) from Calais, take A26 Motorway towards Reims and Troyes, then Dijon, Mâcon then ‘Autoroute Blanche’ Motorway ( A40 Mâcon – Cluses) exit Cluses Centre (no 19), follow N205 road towards Sallanches. After 3 km follow signs to ‘Les Carroz d’Araches’ and turn left towards Les Carroz on the D6 road.

By Rail: Direct TGV to Paris/Cluses at weekends. Takes 5 hours. Bus between Cluses and Les Carroz. Alpbus – 00 33 450 03 70 09.

Bus transfers from Geneva Airport

Five buses run indirect from 22/12/12-13/04/13. Book 2 days in advance with local tourist office for return. Tickets must be reserved with www.altibus.com (not pre-bookable with Peak Retreats). Transfer time 1.45hrs. Cost when pre-booking online is roughly €81.50 per adult return (cheaper prices for groups of 4 adults). Child is half adult rate (4-12yrs). Change bus at Taninges for Les Carroz.
One bus run direct to Les Carroz from 15/12/12 on Sats and Suns and takes 1hr. Cost is €66.

There are 1250 free car parking spaces for you to use at the bottom of the pistes…

a. Telecabine departure Les Carroz parking – 550 spaces

b. Les Molliets sector (5km from village towards Flaine, 10 mins) – 700 spaces (there is a chairlift at Les Molliets)

There is also parking in the village (270 spaces).

Shuttle buses around Les Carroz ski resort

To get to the lifts, to the ski school or to go shopping, the shuttle buses are free and run every day from 8:30 am. There is always a bus stop near your accommodation. 7 days per week. Runs from 22/12/12.

Line A – Le Pré-du-Bois – Laydevant – Telecabine

Line B – Saint Sigismond – La Frasses – Araches – Le Lays – Telecabine

Les Carroz Beginners pass

(2AR telecabine, TK Cretes, TK et TS Plein Soleil. Hands free pass €1.60 plus day for adult is €23 and child 5-15 years is €17.

Ski School: Lesson times are subject to change right until the last minute. Outside French school holidays the ski school reserves the right to cancel group lessons should numbers be insufficient. For peak periods (23/12-6/1, 16/2-16/3 & 14/4-21/4) we strongly recommend that you book as early as possible and in any case at least 6 weeks prior to the required dates. Morning lessons tend to get booked up first and therefore we may only be able to offer afternoon classes within 6 weeks of departure. In some resorts English speaking instructors may not always be available, particularly at peak times.

Cross-country in Grand Massif

Grand Massif claims 64km/40 miles of cross country. There are extensive tracks between Morillon and Les Carroz with some tough uphill sections.

Night-time Skiing in Les Carroz

Night-time skiing once or twice a week.
FREE for those in possession of a valid pass bought in Les Carroz (half day, daily, 6 day, season, etc…), otherwise the tariff is 9.00€ per person.
Wednesdays and Thursdays in high season (from Dec to Early Jan and from Feb to Early March). Wednesdays in low season.

Terrain Parks in Grand Massif

JamPark Pro is in Flaine and is the main park. Has a quarter-pipe, tables, rails, a boardercross course and chill-out zone.

There is a tiny kids’ park in Samoens, a boardercross course in Les Carroz and another kids’ park, JamPark Kids, with a boardercross on the Morillon side.
