MONT BLANC:

In the heart of the French Alps and close to Mont Blanc, the Val d'Arly is still a well kept secret despite being one of the oldest tourist centres in Savoie. Attracted by stunning scenery, charming traditional villages and the warmth and friendliness of its inhabitants, discerning travellers have made this area their ideal alpine getaway. 'Between nature and tradition' says the French brochure - well, it is definitely far from the madding crowds!

 

Unique, varied terrain with Mont Blanc as a stunning backdrop is common to all the resorts. For unbeatable skiing, Megève with its 300km of pistes, will delight and challenge skiers, whatever their ability. Beginners and intermediates will find the region heaven for learning and improving in a safe and uncrowded environment.

 

Savoie Mont Blanc has some of the best ski areas in the world, but also some of the best restaurants, both in the resorts and on the slopes. The area has 31 Michelin star restaurants, and a multitude of other excellent venues, suiting all tastes and budgets.

Annecy
An idyllic setting, close to Switzerland and Italy, the city is located in a deep gorge on the Thiou river at the northern end of Lake Annecy. Within easy reach of the mountains by road are Semnoz (20 mins). There are also well renowned ski resorts within 45mins drive.
