Montgenèvre
From 17/03/2023 Montgenèvre is offering visitors the chance to try their hand at mini golf on snow every Friday until the end of the season! There's also a chance to have a go on a Yooner (a light maneuverable sledge with a ski style base) on Mondays up until the end of the season.
The best bit? Both activities are free!
Les Arcs
February 22nd 2023: Les Arcs area attempting to break their own World Record for the most people involved in a torchlit descent! (previously achieved in 2016 with 2887 skiers). Normally a mountain descent reserved for ski instructors, this is YOUR chance to get involved in a torchlit descent that could enter the record books!
La Rosière
New for 2022/23 winter, Snakegliss gliding - Learn how to link these special sledges together by your ESF instructor, and try them out, for an after ski school thrill!
Also new Yooner Downhill! You'll be taught how to handle your yooner (effectively a luge for snow!) by your ESF instructor, and then let loose on the slopes.
This season La Rosière is hosting the Freeride World Qualifiers - three events over the course of a long weekend in January. A fantastic opportunity to witness some of the world's best riders, do what they do best.
Chamrousse
New for December 2022, 2km long Zipline! Soar from 2253m high and descend 600 vertical metres alongside the main gondola to the resort base!
Night skiing - Ski with panoramic views of Grenoble city lights, with DJs playing to add to the atmosphere.
Ski touring - 3 dedicated ski touring routes - two of which go through forest and one specifically for night skiing
For freestyle, boardercross and the usual jumps, Chamrousse's Snow Park also has a mini timed speed skiing run, 1km long and suitable for those comfortable on green and blue runs!
Les Saisies
Organised by Les Saisies Tourist board, The Christmas Trail, is a 10km or 20km race, run through the picturesque scenery of Les Saisies domaine - starting at 9.30am on 11th December 2022.
Samoëns
The Haut-Giffre Winter Festival - 22nd January 2023 - this free-of-charge event is a brilliant opportunity for the Sixt-Fer-À-Cheval villages (which include Samoëns) to come together for a day full of Nordic activities. Try your hand at cross-country skiing, biathlon, rifle-shooting and fat bike! It's completely free access and free shuttles from the tourist offices - sounds like a perfect day out!

Val Cenis
Back for its second edition, Nature and Ski in Val Cenis. This event combines skiing, leisure and environment, and makes for a fun and educational week - 9th-14th April 2023.
Oz en Oisans
Do your kids fancy themselves as mini mushers? 3-8 year olds can now try out a sled specially designed for them, and learn from the pros how to drive their very own team of dogs.
Sunset Skiing Experience - Descend from the Dôme des Rousses at 2800m, with your dedicated guide, and watch the sun set over the mountains as you glide your way back to the resort
Morzine
New Pinguin Parc - replacing the current Penguins bordercross, Pinguin Parc will be even more fun and playful for all the family. This interactive slope will entertain all ages!
Les Gets
In line with Les Gets actions to become more responsible for their environmental factor, they've produced new ski passes made from natural material, derived from wood, to reduce their plastic consumption.
A year-round toboggan run - they've set up an alpine coaster on the Perrières sector at the entrance to the village - perfect fun for the whole family, all year round!
A new beer bar, La Beca, connected to La Becanerie café by a secret tunnel - you can taste no less than 13 taps of draught beer and around a hundred beers from all over the world.
Vaujany
Fancy a fondue evening with a twist? Catch your piste-basher transfer up to a mountain restaurant and spend the evening indulging in local cheese fondue, before making your way back down in your piste-basher! Kids can even take it in turns to sit with the driver!
Le Grand Bornand
Spend time with the professionals and learn how to build your very own igloo, a perfect way to spend the afternoon with the children!
Christmas in Le Grand Bornand - 20th-24th December - Illuminations, street performances, a live nativity scene and even a photobooth with Santa! A magical week for all!
New Year's Eve party - 31st December 2022 - A snowy night in the mountains, with a DJ, food and drink, and fireworks to round off the night - a lovely way to bring in the new year!
Auris en Oisans
For some adrenaline filled fun, take the all-terrain 'fat' scooters for a spin, and ride around the forest trails exploring!
