This March Les Arcs in Paradiski will be home to a special week of activities with a Great Britain theme.
Paradiski is a huge, increasingly-popular ski area with plenty of apres-ski. The 425km ski area was created when the well-established resorts of La Plagne and Les Arcs were linked by the Vanoise Express cable car. Les Arcs and La Plagne are made up of modern purpose-built resort bases but both also boast a few pretty villages such as Champagny, Les Coches, Montchavin or Peisey Vallandry. Bordered by the scenic Vanoise National park, the area includes some typically pretty mountain landscape.
The Great British Celebration
Sunday 31st March
5:30pm - Head to Place du Soleil in Arc 1600 for a welcome drink and a Franco/ British Quiz where you could win a bottle of champagne!
Monday 1st April
5pm - Go to Arc 1800 for a toboggan race at the Mille8!
Tuesday 2nd April
10am to 4pm - Visit the Arc 2000 ski area and discover speed skiing!
3pm - Ice Warrior! Challenge your friends on a 100m obstacle course.
Wednesday 3rd April
10am to 4pm - Visit the Arc 2000 ski area and discover speed skiing!
4:15pm - Afterwards head down to Arc 1800 at the Slalom Mille8 and test out your slalom skills on the dedicated piste!
5pm - Tea and biscuits at Arc 1950 place de l'horloge!
6pm - Have a singalong and dance to a Beatles themed concert in Place Haute des Villards.
Thursday 4th April
4:30pm : In Arc 1800 there will be people on the sledge slope, and Savoyard and English products are available to try.
6:30pm : To end the week of festivities in style, there’s a concert in the place haute des Villards.
