If you think that the distance involved or the timing of the ferry sailings mean that you will have too much driving in a day, then put your mind at rest by booking an overnight stop in an hotel en route to the lakes and mountains. We can suggest convenient locations (eg. Reims, Troyes, Dijon...) and we will take care of arranging it all for you. Or why not benefit from an extra day in the mountains before and/or after your holiday? Spend Friday night in a hotel close to your resort (Lyon, Chambery, Cluses, Chamonix, Grenoble...) and enjoy a full day discovering the area before checking into your accommodation on Saturday afternoon.

Interhotel

Interhotel is a chain of more then 200 independent privately-owned and affordable 2-3 star hotels.

Hotels are divided into 10 categories A- O. Prices below are per room.

Novotel

This French hotel chain (part of world leading hotel chain Accor) features standardised 3*** hotels. It guarantees comfort along with high standard facilities. All the spacious rooms (25m²) have an entrance with hanging space, a double bed, a lounge area with a sofa bed, office space with direct-dial telephone line, computer socket, colour TV, automatic wake-up alarm, mini bar and air-conditioning. The en-suite bathrooms are bright and all have hairdryers.

We have selected 4 towns for ideal stopover en-route: Troyes, Dijon, Reims and Lyon.

Prices are per person per night including breakfast.  Local tourist tax payable on site (max € 1 per pers).

Geneva airport – “Park & Suites Ferney Voltaire”

ONE NIGHT STOP AT GENEVA AIRPORT

Ideally located only a few minutes from Geneva airport, the residence is a great choice an overnight stay if your flight arrives late. Free airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel (Monday to Friday 7.00-10.00 am on an hourly basis and from 17.00-22.30 on request.

The 3-star apartment hotel offers 124 spacious, convenient fitted rooms and suites arranged over 5 floors (with lifts).

Facilities include an outdoor heated pool, a 24/7 reception, air-conditioning and free wifi throughout the hotel, a breakfast room (breakfast available €12/adult, €6/child aged 3-11yrs) and an outdoor car park. The on-site ‘Borgia’ restaurant offers a menu combining the savoir-faire of traditional French cuisine and the refinement of Geneva dishes (closed between 20/07 and 12/08).

The functional rooms all have a double bed or 2 single beds (and some triple rooms with 3 single beds), a private safe, mini-bar, telephone, satellite TV, an ensuite bathroom with bath and hairdryer. Some have an extra kitchenette (with microwave, small fridge, ceramic 2-ring hob and sink). The suites are made of 2 interconnecting bedrooms (one with a double sofa bed and kitchenette and one with either a double bed or 2 singles).

Prices include: fully equipped bedroom, bed linen (with beds made on arrival), towels, daily cleaning (excluding kitchen area and washing-up), cot loan. To pay locally: local tourist tax €0.80/pers/day, cleaning kit €3, DVD player hire €10/day or €50/week. Pets welcome €10/day or €40/week.

Please note reservations cannot be held after 19.00 hrs. If you plan to arrive after this time, you must contact the hotel well in advance to confirm your arrival. The address and number of the booked hotel will be forwarded to you with your travel documents.
