Mont Blanc Multipass

If you are planning to visit Chamonix (even if you aren’t staying in Chamonix itself), the Mont Blanc Multipass is a great way to get the most out of the area. 

The pass gives access to some of the area’s most breathtaking must-see sites.

Passes gives access to:

• The historic Montenvers rack and pinion train that takes you to the Mer de Glace, the largest glacier in the French Alps. From here you can take a gondola, then climb down the 170 steps to visit the ice cave and discover the depths of the glacier,
• The Aiguille du Midi, which is France’s highest cable car; get a panoramic view of the Mont Blanc massif at an altitude of 3,482m. At the top you can experience Step into the Void – a glass structure jutting out over a void, not for the faint-hearted! And you can enjoy a guided visit to make the most of your time.
• The scenic Tramway du Mont-Blanc cog railway which gives access to beautiful hiking trails,
• You’ll also have access to lifts to access walks, bike trails and climbing routes, and stunning views in and around Chamonix in Brévent, Flégère, Vallorcine, Les Houches - Saint Gervais (selected lifts).

Passes with a duration of 2-days or more also have access to the Skyway Monte Bianco, on the Italian side of Mont Blanc, and lifts in Les Contamines, Megève, Les Portes du Mont Blanc and Saint Gervais.
