La Clusaz
La Clusaz is known for it's tasty Reblochon cheese! This 2021/22 season the resort that has long offered visitors cheese farm visits is upping its cheese game by renaming the 2.5km long Envers blue slope the Reblochon Run.
Val Cenis
Val Cenis has been awarded the Flocan Vert Award as of November 2021! Supported by the local ski school, Val Cenis has developed a local youth club that has an approach to reducing waste which includes reusing glass jars, collecting light bulbs and batteries at schools and being attentive to the elderly community.
New to Val Cenis for the 2021/22 season is the La Ferme du XVieme siecle restaurant (translates as The 15th Century Farm). This is not one to miss on your visit! The glass floor allows you to see the cows in the barn below. The owner of this fascinating restaurant is a farmer the rest of the year.
The nature and ski in Val Cenis first event begins for three days on 01/04/22, an event combining skiing, leisure and the environment!
Sainte Foy
New Winter Mountain Cart for 2022! At the closing of the domain, descend the Charmettes track aboard the mountain cart. The summer version was great which is why this mountain cart is now equipped for snow!
Try the various other new activities added to the resort including being a ski patroller for a day, a groomer for a night, bushcraft, funny Friday, and visiting a real igloo at camp trapper.
Upgrades to both the Arpettaz and the Grand Plan chairlifts will increase in capacity on the routes. The Arpettaz lift has increased to 3000 passengers per hour and the Grand Plan to 2000 passengers per hour!

Saint Gervais
Located on Mont d'Arbois at 1,840m and easily accessed by the Bettex-Mont d'Arbois gondola, a brand new novice area offers a drag lift and covered magic carpet lift, all improving the comfort for beginner skiers to develop their skills.
New for December 2022 - The Arbois 2-seater chairlift is being replaced with a new 6-seat chairlift.
Peisey Vallandry
A new comfortable 10-seat gondola open to both skiers and pedestrians has been installed in Peisey Vallandry and will take skiers to 2138m in just 6 minutes. This new lift system has environment-friendly features from solar panels to help it generate year-round electricity to recycling the heat produced by the motors. At the top there's a safe skiing zone where children and beginners can practice their first turns, first rides and first runs in dedicated areas. Plus there's a new museum space to learn all about mountain flora and fauna.
Try cross-country skiing in the Nordic area of Peisey. The area offers thirty kilometres of trails as well as a biathlon field, natural ice falls and more.
Bourg Saint Maurice
When visiting this beautiful area, check out the urban art that has brightened up the village. Highlighted in several projects, there are huge frescoes on the ground in two of the village streets and a 200m 'free expression' wall.
Make use of the green transport with the resort funicular at a reduced price this year of €3 one way or €5 return (adult price) compared to €9 and €14 in previous seasons.
Les 7 Laux
On the 29th of December 2021 Les 7 Laux celebrates their 50th anniversary with an extravagance evening! With a DJ set and dancefloor on the foot of the slopes, you can dance the night away in the mountains before finishing the night watching the superb fireworks display.
Montgenèvre
You can now switch up your regular family hike and take a trip into the mountains with the new unusual llama walk in Montgenèvre! So get those snowshoes on and head out on a wander in this beautiful valley accompanied by a furry friend. Did you know? Llama's are the ideal animal to take on a hike as they are sure-footed on steep paths and don't require a great deal of food or water.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
Sylvotherapy is a new experience for those wishing to reconnect with themselves and nature. Available for free in March and April, this unique activity is derived from yoga and meditation. It is, on a basic level, a discovery walk harnessing the positive energy emitted by trees.
Les Gets
This winter, new modules are being added to the Piste des Indiens (Indian Trail). Young skiers will be able to ring a “Totem Gong ” with their poles, fist bump rotating hands and ski through a wall of giant “chips”, all under the watchful gaze of bison and pumas!
Breathe in the fresh air of the natural space while zigzagging between the pine trees and exploring the snowy trails with winter trail running.
Experience the priceless cultural heritage at Europe's only Museum of Mechanical Music.
Les Carroz
Have a go at the virtual reality run, with a family member or friend, sit in the sled while one is at the controls and the other is in virtual immersion with the VR headset. Experience a crazy run and unique sensations combining the speed of the alpine coaster and a funny fantastic universe.
Orelle (Val Thorens)
A new snakegliss track is open! Snakegliss is a variation of sledging and very popular! It combines multiple sledges together in a snake-like formation before descending down the mountainside.
Orelle has a brand new connection with Val-Thorens! Visitors will now be able to reach the famous Cime Caron in only 20 minutes from the village!
Samoëns
The brand new Vercland gondola has replaced the original four-seater gondolas from the ski village. As the main route up to the Grand Massif, the new lift will run at 7 metres per second, carrying 2000 passengers per hour, making it the fastest ski lift in France!
Tignes
Updates to the Marais chairlift includes replacing the previous lift, the new 6 seater express lift links the Aiguille Rouge (which is above Tignes 1800) to the Aiguille Percée, with an estimated journey time of 8 minutes and 20 seconds.
Choose either a solo or duo zorb and hurtle down the new zorb track reaching up to 50km/h whilst trying to knock down as many inflatable skittles as possible. Definitely a unique experience in the Alps!
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
The new speed mountain toboggan run has opened! Whether it's solo or sharing with a child, this over 1,000 meter-long run with series of twists and turns is great for the family. Make sure you smile on the way down and take home a souvenir photo, available at the speed mountain shop.
Accessible to children over the age of 5 years (minimum height: 1.10 meters) sharing a parent’s toboggan.
Children taller than 1.40m can ride solo.

Our food delivery service lets you pre-order delicious prepared meals for your stay, to be delivered directly to your apartment, making self-catering even easier! We love the meal plans and choice of the traditional French dishes and if you're staying during the winter holidays you can order a full Christmas lunch!
Morzine
Morzine’s Bélvèdere chairlift has been upgraded from a fixed-grip quad to a detachable six-seater for 2022. The new chairlift also has a much greater uplift capacity of up to 2,800 people per hour and provides better safety, comfort, faster access to the beginner's area and more pistes.
The remodelling of the red Aigle run, going from the summit of Nyon at 2019 metres down to the Nyon plateau at 1413m is complete for 2022. The run is 3 times wider, with 2km of skiing pleasure!
There is a new fun trail for snowshoeing and sledging run on the Nyon plateau.
Morzine and Avoriaz have worked together for over a year on projects that work towards the Flocon Vert award. As of September 2021, these efforts were awarded the Flocon Vert certification.
Praz de Lys
This 2021/22 season Praz de Lys celebrates its 50th anniversary!
Valmorel
The original 4-seater Biollene chairlift linking to the top of the resort has been updated to a new high-speed 6-seater chairlift, with a journey time of just over 5 minutes and transporting 2800 skiers p/h.
Arêches Beaufort
The Le Bois gondola opened for the 2020/21 season. The lift departs from Le Play (1200m) and ends at the Plateau du Cuvy (1736m). It will transport 2800 people p/h, with 10 people per cabin and a journey time of only 6 minutes.
Les Gets
Immerse yourself in an enchanted world during the Alta Lumina night walk, set amongst magical forest and beautiful scenery! This unique experience guides you along an imaginative journey, surrounded by an awe-inspiring light show and accompanied by atmospheric music.
Tickets are free for under 4s and then range from €10 to €19 with family tickets also available.
