Ski with Confidence Coaching Course 

Whilst most of the time, we love the exhilaration we get from skiing, we know that not everyone hits the slopes feeling fearless and that even the strongest skiers can have a wobble.

Whether you’re returning after an injury, feeling nervous about keeping up, or just want to enjoy skiing more, this course is for you.

Peak Retreats is excited to be collaborating with mindset coach Louise Pode at ProAbility to bring you an online group coaching course for the 2025/26 season.

Course participants will attend a series of four live online group coaching sessions in the run up to their February half term Peak Retreats holiday followed by a reflective session after their trip.

You’ll explore what’s behind any anxiety you might have around skiing and learn simple, effective tools to feel calmer and more in control.

Louise has helped hundreds of skiers move past fear and rediscover the joy of skiing. Now she’s bringing her warm, practical approach to a small group format, exclusively for Peak Retreats clients. 


Whether you’re a cautious beginner or a nervous returner, this course is all about helping you ski with more ease and enjoyment.
 

What does the course cover?

Over five tailored, 60-minute online sessions, you'll work together to understand what's building that feeling of anxiety and develop the tools to manage it.

You'll come away with practical strategies, a calmer mindset, and the confidence to relax into your skiing.

The course will cover:

  • Your personal 'why' - discovering what skiing means to you and setting a goal that feels inspiring
  • Understanding your fear - identifying where your anxiety and concerns come from and how to manage it
  • Simple tools to calm your nerves - so you feel more relaxed before and during skiing
  • Mindset shifts to build resilience - learning to reframe challenges and build self-trust
  • Celebrating progress - recognising what's working and how to keep growing

After each session, you'll receive a follow-up email with key takeaways, insights, and helpful resources to keep your momentum going.

What you'll gain

The course is designed to both work on your mindset in the long term as well as providing practical tools to help you manage your feelings of anxiety in the moment.

Course format

The course will take place online via Zoom. These will be live group sessions with a maximum of 12 participants.

Each session will be 60-minutes long from 19.30-20.30

About Louise Pode

Louise Pode is an International Mindset Coach for skiers who want to ski with more confidence. She works with clients across the globe to overcome their anxiety on the slopes.

Louise works from a place of personal experience, having suffered years of overwhelming ski anxiety.

Through mindset and resilience coaching, she not only got back on skis but rediscovered a love for the sport that is now at the heart of her coaching business.

Louise has 25 years of experience as an Executive Coach, NLP Master Practitioner, and WRAW (Workplace Resilience and Wellbeing) Master Practitioner and has been coaching anxious skiers to rebuild their confidence and love of skiing since 2017.
