The welcoming and enthusiastic British owners are a young couple who have lived in the resort for a number of years and who live on site in the chalet.
The Chalet Angelonia has been sympathetically restored, using the traditional materials of stone and wood throughout, and with large windows creating a warm impression of space and light as well as affording marvellous views of the Tarentaise Valley.
On the ground floor, there is a garage with space for 4 cars (one space per room included - must be pre-booked, subject to availability), a spa area (open every afternoon) with a 4 person hammam, a Jacuzzi with a view of the valley and a massage room (treatments available on request, payable locally); dedicated boot dryers; shower and wc. Outside there is outdoor parking space for 3 cars.
Breakfast is a continental buffet with a hot option. Dinner is served 6 nights a week (Wednesday is chef’s night off) and comprises apéritif, canapés, starter, main course, dessert, cheese and tea or coffee. Wine is available from a competitively priced list. High tea after skiing is included.
The owners’ apartment is on the first floor. On the second floor, there is a living area with log fire and dining area, wc and balcony. On the third floor, there is also a multi-function room (TV, video games) with an amazing glass floor!
