At a maximum of 100m is the resort centre with the ski kindergarten and range of shops including a small supermarket with fresh bakery, ski hire shops, souvenir shop, regional products, newsagent and 3 restaurants.
The 4, well maintained 3 storey buildings incorporate 130 apartments that are built in typical Savoyard style, all with a balcony or terrace offering superb views of the Vanoise glacier.
There is a residents’ lounge in the reception building with a library: free loan of card/board games is available. There is ample free outdoor parking in front of the residences.
Highlight: Father Christmas will make a personal delivery of children’s Christmas presents on Christmas eve (individual delivery of presents by Father Christmas, parcels supplied by the parents) directly to each apartment (to pre-book, state at time of booking).
The staff were excellent, very helpful and welcoming.
The apartments at Résidences de Combelouvière are part of our Essentiels range. These fairly compact apartments (in some, storage may be rather limited) are fitted to a good standard of comfort and convenience. They all have a living area with 2 sofa beds and a pull-out bed, bathroom, separate WC, fully equipped kitchen area (no tea towels provided – we suggest you bring your own) with hob, fridge, dishwasher, mini-oven or microwave and electric coffee machine; free WIFI and satellite TV.
1 bedroom apartment sleeping 2-5 (32m2): bedroom with double bed or 2 single beds.
For considerations of comfort, we recommend this apartment type for a maximum of 4 persons.
3 bedroom duplex apartment sleeping 8 (55m2): 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds; bedroom with double bed; shower room, extra WC. For considerations of comfort, we recommend this apartment type for a maximum of 8. Please note that this type of apartment is situated in the Sappey building, c. 100m farther from the centre, lift and ski school.
