Residence Le Saphir
The residence is south-west/south-east facing and affords superb views of the surrounding mountains.
Facilities at the Saphir include:
- A reception (where high chairs and cots may be hired – included – subject to availability – pre-book),
- 1 parking space included per apartment,
- Ski lockers,
- Free WiFi.
Please note that we have not yet been able to inspect these apartments, as the residence was not completed at the time of our visit. We were, however, impressed with the location and know the high standards employed from similar residences.
All apartments are spacious, very comfortable and tastefully decorated in contemporary style with a few Alpine touches; all have an open-plan kitchen with ceramic hob, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle; living area with dining area, satellite TV and double sofa bed; bathroom; separate WC; balcony.

The excellent 4* Saphir is an exclusive development of just 18 apartments, built for the 2019-20 season, and ideally located in the heart of Vaujany. The complex incorporates also on the lower levels its own private, as well as public, parking and a selection of shops.

Fully equipped apartment; bed linen (beds made on arrival except sofa bed in lounge), towels, end of stay cleaning (except kitchen and washing up); Wi-Fi; cleaning kit; one covered parking space per apartment (to be pre-booked, subject to availability); baby equipment (to be pre-booked), ski locker.
To pay locally (provisional):
- Security deposit €600 - €1000€ depending on apartment size (by credit card),
- Local tourist tax: c.€2.53/day/adult (18yrs +),
- Cleaning of kitchen area and washing up €80,
- To hire: extra set of bed linen €10/bed, extra towels €8pp,
- Pets welcome €70/week (max 1/apt, pre-booking essential. Pets must be vaccinated, microchipped, and travel with their health record).
Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.
