Built in typical mountain style with extensive use of wood, the residence is composed of 2-floor chalet style buildings and terraced chalets. The nearest shop is 400m away and the Grand Massif Express gondola is 1.1km away - both locations can be reached by the free resort shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes.
All fully equipped apartments at Residence Les Fermes de Samoens are of a good standard and range from studios to terraced chalets sleeping up to 10 people.
Facilities: reception, small indoor heated pool (3.8m x 6, open Sun-Fri 08.00-11.30 and 16.00-19.30), lounge with open fireplace, pool table (payable) and tea-making facility, sauna and steam room (1 free session per apartment per week, then €39/apartment/6 sessions), ski and boot lockers (within the chalets or below the apartments), bread delivery service (payable) and a laundry room (payable). The residence has free outdoor parking (subject to availability), 1 free sheltered parking space per chalet and its own underground car park (Winter 18/19 - payable £43/week at time of booking, max 2.00m high).
If skiing with young children use the hired lockers near top of the Grand Massif Express.
The loan of hairdryers, board games, irons and ironing boards, fondue and raclette sets is available from Reception (subject to availability).
All apartments and chalets at Les Fermes de Samoens have: living area with single sofa bed and extra drawer bed (or double sofa bed in Chalet sleeping 10) and TV, bath or shower room, wc, fully equipped kitchen area with 4-ring hob, fridge, dishwasher and mini-oven or microwave. The apartments all have a balcony or a terrace and wi-fi access (€25/week for up to 3 devices, payable on site by credit card only). Please note that the living area in the chalets is broadly the same size as in the smaller apartments and that there is only one sofa in the lounge as explained in our FAQ.
