The two apartments are located in a prime position at the foot of the ski slopes in Les Esserts (Morillon 1100m, pedestrianised resort). This 4* apartments are located just a stone's throw from the resort centre and 50m from the nearest ski lift.

The Green run Marvel (a family favourite) leads back towards the blocks in front of C, but there is no ski access to or from the apartments C6 or C12. Le Refuge de l’Alpage is close to the nursery slopes, it is perfect for families looking for convenient, professional childcare, as well as for those without children looking for nearby skiing. The mini-market, ski school meeting point, ski hire shop and lift passes are all within short walking distance. 

Le Refuge de l’Alpage is built in typical mountain style with extensive use of wood and stone by the acclaimed ‘mountain architects’ MGM. The apartments have a ski locker and parking.

The privately owned stylish apartments’ interiors have been tastefully decorated and floor space is more generous than found in most alpine units. The apartments at Le Refuge de l’Alpage are fitted and furnished to a high standard of comfort and convenience with pretty homely touches.

2 Bedroom apartment

C6: 2 bedrooms sleeps 6 (44m2): living area with double sofa bed, TV, DVD, iPod docks and WiFi, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom, separate wc. First floor. Non-smoking. The fully equipped kitchen area has antique wood units and country-style ceramic tiles, 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and full-size oven. South facing balcony. 4 Bedroom apartment

C12: 4 bedrooms split level sleeps 8/10 (69m2):  living area with double sofa bed, TV and DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen with cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The master bedroom is a double with ensuite shower room/wc and leads into the lounge area with its floor to ceiling windows and balcony, affording breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. On this level is also the main bathroom with a separate WC. There are a further 3 bedrooms, all twins, one of which is on the same level as the master bedroom, the other 2 being on the mezzanine, accessed via a staircase (with lockable stairgate) from the lounge.

For families with babies, a high chair, changing mat and travel cot are available (bedding not supplied). Further facilities include a clothes airer, ironing board and iron, and a ski locker in the basement. Non-smoking apartment and pets not accepted.

Extras to pay (2018/19):

Refundable deposit £400 (payable to the owner by UK cheque but sent by the clients to Peak Retreats prior to their arrival at the property.) Local tourist tax c. €0.75/pers/day (+18yrs – guiding fare).

Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with Free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates on a self-catering basis. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Zeebrugge or Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £230.
