Les Chalets de Wengen
Les Chalets de Wengen is built in typical mountain style with extensive use of wood and stone. The residence is composed of three 4-6 floor interconnecting chalets (with lifts).
Facilities at Les Chalets de Wengen include:
- Reception lounge with fireplace and pool table,
- Free access to the private heated indoor heated pool (10m x 5m, depth 0.50-1.40m),
- Sauna (pay locally),
- Outdoor car parking (subject to availability, free of charge),
- Underground car parking (pay locally, subject to availability so request at time of booking, max height 2.10m),
- Ski lockers,
- Laundry room (pay locally),
- Free Wi-Fi (in Reception area only, limited to 30mins pp/day, from 8am-8pm).
The loan of cots (mattresses not supplied), highchairs and baby bath (subject to availability, state at time of booking), is available from Reception.
Les Chalets de Wengen comprises 100 fully equipped apartments of a good standard. They all have a living area with a sofa bed sleeping 2, a fully equipped kitchen area with a ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, a bathroom with bath, separate wc, TV, balcony and Wi-Fi access (payable, state at time of booking as not all apartments have same connectivity).

1 bedroom apartment sleeping 2-4 (c.35m2): bedroom with double bed
1 bedroom alcove or mezzanine apartment sleeping 4-6 (c.45m2): bedroom with double bed, enclosed alcove or mezzanine with bunk beds (or 1 single bed in mezzanine and additional fold-up bed in the living area), extra shower room
2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4-6 (c.50/55m2): bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2 single beds (may be bunks), extra shower room
2 bedroom alcove or mezzanine apartment sleeping 6-8 (c.65m2): 2 x bedrooms each with double bed, alcove with a single bed (may be mezzanine with 2 single beds), extra single fold-up bed in the living area, extra shower room/wc
The upper bunk of bunk beds is not suitable for children under 6.

To pay locally (provisional):
- Refundable deposit €250,
- Local tourist tax c.€2.75/pp/day (over 18yrs),
- End of stay cleaning or request or if apartment is not left in perfect order €60-109 depending on the size of the apartment (excl kitchen area and washing-up),
- To hire: towel set €10set (1 hand towel, 1 bath towel), bed linen (€12.50/bed/change), beds made on arrival €60-105 depending on apartment size,
- Sauna, steam room and hot tub (payable locally, 20 mins sessions are €14 for one person, €21 for two people and €11.50 any additional person up to a maximum of 6),
- The residence has its own outdoor car park (subject to availability, free of charge) and covered car park (max height 1.85m, €54/week, payable locally, must be pre-booked, state at time of booking),
- Pets welcome €49/week each (max 1/apt), state at time of booking, certain breeds of dog are not permitted). Pets must be kept on a lead and have an anti-rabies certificate,
- Payable WiFi: approx €22/week/device.
Price is unless specified, per accommodation, per week, on a self-catering basis, in £s Sterling, including a Standard Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais with a car with free FlexiPlus upgrade on selected dates. A supplement will apply for travel on certain peak dates. Other routes and operators available (including P&O routes from Hull to Rotterdam plus Brittany Ferries route from Portsmouth to Caen). Accommodation only deduct £420.
