Les Sybelles Resort Guide

Located on the border of Isere and the Hautes Alps, the Sybelles massif is the fourth largest ski area in France, and the biggest in the Maurienne Valley. Formed in 2003, this resort gives ski access to Saint-Jean d'Arves (1600m - 2620m), Saint-Sorlin d'Arves (1500m - 2620m), Le Corbier (1550m - 2620m), La Toussuire (1800m - 2620m), Saint-Colomban-des-Villards (1100m - 2620m) and Les Bottières (1300m - 2620m). All are 100% connected ski-in/ski-out via the peak of l’Ouillon, with excellent snow conditions at 2431m altitude.

With spectacular views of the emblematic needles of Arves, peaking at 3514m, rounded peaks, valleys, rocks, forests and cascading lakes, all make up its diverse landscape that is home to a large variety of wildlife and undisrupted mountain villages.

Les Sybelles Resort Information

Named as the "six beautiful" (SixBelles) resorts that connect this area, the ski linked area has developed a strong taste for traditions and authenticity. We have selected the best that les Sybelles has to offer.

At 1800m altitude, La Toussuire is the ideal resort to go skiing with your family and is also great for beginners, especially with the beginners’ area located at the snow front. Its car-free centre lets you stroll between the numerous shops and facilities (swimming pool, skating rink, bowling…).

Deeply linked with agriculture, St Jean d’Arves is a mountain village with an unrivalled charm, where the residents enjoy welcoming visitors and sharing their culture. The outlined slopes and establishment of ski lifts enables skiers to admire unspoilt and majestic views!

Ideal for families and rich in culture, St Sorlin d'Arves is a traditional mountain village. An optimal amount of sunshine, local cheese-making, original activities and range of shops are the secrets of this genuine resort that perpetuates from generation to generation.
