Les Chalets du Galibier
Les Chalets du Galibier is ideally located, at
the foot of the slopes and opposite the Moulin
Benjamin chair lift, so it is possible to ski
back to part of the residence (snow conditions
permitting). There is a free shuttle bus every
15 minutes to the resort centre (1km) from the
front of the residence, otherwise it is only a
5-10 minute walk. Please note that the new
section called ‘Chalets du Galibier
II’ is 200m further from the lifts.
Built in typical mountain style with extensive
use of wood and stone, Les Chalets du Galibier
is composed of 2 residences of five large
chalets each. Les Chalets du Galibier comprises
fully equipped apartments of a high standard
ranging from studios to spacious 2 bedroom
alcove apartments sleeping up to 8 people. Each
chalet has its own ski room and lift.
Facilities: reception, 2
indoor
heated swimming-pools, a lounge with open
fire, pool table (payable), sauna and steam
room (1 free session per apartment, then
€39/apartment/7 sessions), left luggage
room, laundry room (payable), pool table. The
residence has free outdoor parking and its own
covered car park (£45/week, payable at
time of booking) and wireless internet access
at Reception (payable).
All apartments at Les Chalets du Galibier are
fitted and furnished to a very high standard of
comfort and convenience. They have:
living area with double pull-out bed, bathroom
or shower room, wc, fully equipped kitchenette
with ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher,
microwave/grill. All apartments have TV,
telephone and balcony -enjoying pleasant views
over the surrounding mountains- or a terrace
for ground floor apartments.

32m2): bedroom with double bed.
1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 5-6
(c 40m2): bedroom with 2 single beds, enclosed
alcove with bunk beds and extra shower room.
For your own comfort, we recommend maximum
occupancy of 5.
1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 6 (c
47m2): bedroom with 2 single beds, alcove with
2 single beds and extra shower room. May be
split level.
2 bedroom alcove duplex apartment sleeping
6-8 (c 60m2): bedroom with 2 single beds.
Upstairs: bedroom with 2 single beds, alcove
with 2 single beds. Extra shower room.
Prices include: fully equipped
apartment, bed linen and towels (extra set
€7/pers). Loan of cots and high chairs
(subject to availability, state at time of
booking).
To pay locally: refundable deposit
€300, local tourist tax c.
€0.80/pers/day (from 13yrs+), end of stay
cleaning if apartment is not left in perfect
order €55-€70. Pets welcome
€44/week each (max 2/apt).
