Built in typical mountain style with extensive use of wood and stone, Les Chalets du Galibier is composed of two residences of five large chalet style buildings each. They comprise fully equipped apartments of a good standard (with lifts).

Facilities include a reception, 2 indoor heated swimming-pools (closed on Saturday morning), sauna and steam room (1 free session per apartment per week, then €8/session/apartment), a lounge with open fire, pool table (payable) and tea-making facility.

Les Chalets du Galibier has a left luggage room, a laundry room (payable), free outdoor parking (limited spaces) and its own covered parking (£29/car/week payable at time of booking, subject to availability) and Wi-Fi in Reception area of Galibier I only, €20/week. The loan of cots and high chairs (subject to availability, state at time of booking), hairdryers, board games, irons and ironing boards, raclette and fondue sets is available from Reception.

The apartments at Les Chalets du Galibier are fitted and furnished to a good standard of comfort and convenience. They have: living area with single sofa bed and extra drawer bed, bathroom or shower room, WC, fully equipped kitchen area with 4-ring ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave/grill, kettle, toaster and electric coffee maker. All apartments have cable TV, telephone (payable) and enjoy a balcony with pleasant views over the surrounding mountains.

1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 4-5 (c 40m2): bedroom with 2 single beds, enclosed alcove with bunk beds and extra shower room. For your own comfort, we recommend maximum occupancy of 5.

1 bedroom alcove apartment sleeping 4-6 (c 47m2): bedroom with 2 single beds, alcove with 2 single beds or bunk beds and extra shower room. May be duplex.

2 bedroom duplex apartment sleeping 6-8 (c 60m2): bedroom with 2 single beds and extra shower. Upstairs: bedroom with 2 single beds and alcove with 2 single beds.

Prices include:

Fully equipped apartment, bed linen and towels (extra set €6/pers/week). Loan of cots and high chairs (subject to availability, state at time of booking).

To pay locally:

Refundable deposit €300, local tourist tax c. €0.80/pers/day, end of stay cleaning if apartment is not left in perfect order €55-€70. Pets welcome €44/week each (max 2/apt).

HOTEL SERVICES: beds made on arrival £35-£45/apartment, final cleaning (excl kitchen area) £55-£70/apartment or beds made on arrival + final cleaning (excl kitchen area) £80-£100/apartment (payable at time of booking).
