Termignon is THE village of the Parc National de la Vanoise. The village is situated in the upper Maurienne valley in the Savoie department in the Northern Alps. Termignon Vanoise is the starting place of many family excursions with a panoramic sight on the glaciers of Vanoise. The village is fairly small but there are still a few genuine craft shops, a wine shop, boulangeries, mini-supermarket, cheese shops…There are also a few restaurants and bars to choose from.
Termignon offers an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding National Park as well as a varied variety of outdoor sports activities such as climbing, paragliding, swimming, mountain-biking and tennis.
Termignon meanders by the Arc River and its mountain pastures are roamed by flocks of sheep and herds of cattle during the summer months.
