Portes du Soleil - Les Gets

Les Gets Gallery

The resort

Les Gets is a century old farming village, which has evolved into a pretty village whilst keeping its warm and friendly charm. The resort has always been popular with French families and holds the 'Les p'tits Montagnards' label for its child friendliness. ...more

The numerous facilities on offer in Les Gets would normally be associated with bigger centres: 18 holes golf course, leisure area with swimming lake, an adventure park, an extensive lift system to take you without effort to the top of the mountains, ten-pin bowling, beauty institute...

As the Mecca for mountain biking, Les Gets regularly holds the discipline's World Cup. Les Gets is rich in trails and downhill courses, which attract riders from all over Europe. Walkers will be rewarded with magnificent views of Mont-Blanc from either side of mountain tops above the village of Les Gets.

The extensive selection of restaurants in Les Gets makes eating out a pleasure while the delicatessen or the local cheese dairy will delight those looking to make their own feasts. Every Thursday in Les Gets the traditional market will bring you mouth-watering local produce.

Half-way between Lake Geneva and Mont-Blanc Les Gets is set in a picturesque Valley, easily accessed by motorway and only 55km from Geneva.

The Gets golf course perched on the Chavannes ridge is a course with magnificent views over the valleys and mountains.

At the heart of Portes du Soleil amidst beautiful woodland, each hole on the Gets golf course has been christened with the name of a nearby summit, the highest being Mont Blanc in the line of the 14th.

The originality of this quite technical course lies in this diversity and you cannot fail to be won over by its variety and excellent maintenance. The course opened in 1995 and has witnessed constant improvements over the past ten years. You will be amazed by the greens on this mountain course…

the views beckon you to explore this exceptional area. The Les Gets golf course has fifteen golf carts to help you round.
