La Rosiere
Located at an altitude of 1850m, between Mont-Blanc and the Tarentaise valley, La Rosiere boasts stunning views of the mountains. Only eight kilometers from the Italian border, the Savoyard resort greets you with a warm welcome.
A few kilometres past the resort, you just have to stop off at the col du Petit Saint Bernard. The Col which is not far the Parc de la Vanoise, where France and Italy converge, is open from June and well worth a visit. At 2188 m, discover the Hospice du Petit-Saint-Bernard and the Chanousia Alpine garden with its 1200 varieties of plants. The Mont Blanc watches over your visit from on high ! An unavoidable stop between two worlds with a heritage which is closely linked to the adventure of their inhabitants, become now Espace San Bernardo. And just next door, the Val d’Aoste. From July 9th to August 31st this year, our children’s club is free* for children aged 18 months to 12 years!

Mountain hiking:
La Rosière has 15 hiking circuits suitable for all levels, from « very easy» to « good walkers ». Learn about mountain wildlife in the forest, beside the water or in the middle of the Alpine pastures, through the many hamlets and villages. Discover the site of the Redoute Ruinée (Ruined Ridout) (2399m), fill your lungs with fresh air and enjoy the wide unspoiled view from the top of Bec Rouge (2515m), charge on towards the Italian border and Mont Valezan (2891m), and the pure, crystal waters of high mountain lakes!

The place to skate this summer!
360 m² ice-rink with spectator seating, music and light-shows. Special sessions every week: Hockey (teenagers/adults, younger children),
ice garden, disco night. For safety reasons, skaters must wear long trousers and gloves. Helmets recommended.
