Les Chalets du Galibier
Les Chalets du Galibier is ideally
located, at the foot of the slopes and opposite
the Moulin Benjamin chair lift, so it is
possible to ski back to nearby part of the
residence (snow conditions permitting). There
is a free shuttle bus every 15 minutes to the
resort centre (1km) from the front of the
residence, otherwise it is only a 5-10 minute
walk. Please note that the new section called
‘Chalets du Galibier II’ is 200m
further from the lifts.
Built in typical mountain style with extensive
use of wood and stone, Les Chalets du Galibier
is composed of 2 residences of five large
chalets each. They comprise fully equipped
apartments of a good standard ranging from
studios to spacious two bedroom alcove
apartments sleeping up to 8 people. Each chalet
has its own ski lockers and lift.
Facilities at Les Chalets du Galibier:
reception, 2 indoor heated pools, a
lounge with open fire, pool table (payable),
sauna and steam room (1 free session per
apartment, then €39/apartment/7 sessions),
left luggage room, laundry room (payable), pool
table. The residence has free outdoor parking
and its own covered car park (£49/week,
payable at time of booking, limited height 2m)
and WiFi in Reception area of Galibier I only
€20/week. The loan of cots and high chairs
(subject to availability, state at time of
booking), hairdryers, board games, irons,
fondue and raclette sets is available from
Reception.

All apartments at Les Chalets du Galbier are
fitted and furnished to a good standard of
comfort and convenience.
They have: living area with single divan bed +
extra drawer bed, bathroom or shower room, wc,
fully equipped kitchen area with 4-ring ceramic
hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave/grill,
kettle, toaster and electric coffee-maker. All
apartments have TV, telephone (excl calls) and
a balcony - enjoying pleasant views over the
surrounding mountains.

2 bedroom alcove duplex apartment sleeping
6-8 (c 60m2): bedroom with 2 single beds.

Prices include: fully equipped
apartment, bed linen (with beds made on arrival
except sofa bed in lounge) and towels (extra
set €6/pers).
