Weekend skiing short breaks

 

 Spend 3 to 5 days skiing in France 2008/2009

 

 

 

Whilst normally most holidays available are 7 days, Saturday to Saturday, as a small specialist operator we have the flexibility to offer different durations and different start dates (outside peak season [13/12-03/01 & 07/02-07/03]).

 

Your weekend can be as long as you want it to be, starting on any day of the week. There is obviously more availability mid-week as opposed to weekends.

 

We don’t arrange flights, as we believe that you can get better value by shopping around and booking direct with the low cost carriers and the main airlines trying to compete with them! There are numerous flights to Geneva from London and many other regional airports – see our Flights page. We can then arrange competitive car hire or private transfers to your hotel depending on the airport.

 

 

 

Our best short break hotel is in Brides-les-Bains.We can offer ski breaks of 3 to 6 nights at the Grand Hotel des Thermes during the whole ski season, EVEN AT PEAK TIMES SUCH AS FEBRUARY HALF-TERM, NEW YEAR OR EASTER.

 

Brides-les-Bains (Linking to Meribel/Three Valleys, the world’s largest ski area) is 1 hour from Chambery airport, 1h40 from Lyon airport, 1h50 from Geneva and Grenoble airports.

 

The 3 star Grand Hotel des Thermes offers spacious bedrooms, great facilities such as indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, fitness room, cosy bar, lounge and an excellent restaurant serving 5-course dinner (sorry prawn cocktail not on the menu!). The only casino in the

3 Valleys is right next door to the hotel and the large resort spa is accessed directly from the hotel (ideal for non-skiers – details here or also on the tourist office website).

               

 

Prices from £222 per person for 3 nights on half-board basis in January, £370 for 5 nights

£256 per person for 3 nights on half-board basis at peak time, £422 for 5 nights

 

 

 

Short breaks are available at a number of hotels and residences, but these can only be booked about a month prior to departure:

We have personally visited all our hotels and they all offer a good level of comfort although some are more luxurious and have more facilities than others. All from prices based on January breaks.
