Situated in a commanding position above
Samoëns village (5 minute drive away), Les
Hauts des Pleignes is a large chalet built in
typical mountain style with extensive use of
stone and wood.
For your own convenience we strongly
recommend a car.
Partly built into the granite mountainside, it
is positioned on the south valley and offers
glorious views over the Giffre Valley.
Completed at the end of 2005, the chalet is
divided into 6 apartments.
The ground floor apartment is very comfortable
and spacious for 5 people, with a high
specification interior.
The lounge/dining area has a wood-burner,
beautiful teak table, a large corner sofa, 2
easy chairs, stereo and TV. This room also
boasts 2 large panoramic French windows that
open onto a wooden patio area with oak
furniture uninterrupted views down to
Samoëns village or up to Samoëns
1600, Tête des Saix and Les Grandes
Platières.
Adjacent is the modern open-plan, high
specification appointed kitchen area which is
extremely well equipped, elegant and compact.
Bedroom 1 also has a French window opening onto
the patio and has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has
two single beds and a single sofa bed (for a
child). Bedroom 3 has a single bed.
There is a bathroom with bath, shower and wc,
along with washing machine and tumble dryer,
plus a separate wc.
For your comfort there is underfloor heating.
There is space to park cars behind the chalet
and a communal ski locker on the 1st
floor.
For the comfort of all guests, please note that
we recommend maximum occupancy of 5 adults and
one child. The apartment is strictly non
smoking.
Bed linen (with beds made on arrival) and end
of stay cleaning are included in the price.
Refundable deposit £300 (payable by UK
cheque prior to departure). Local tourist tax
c €0.75/pers/day payable locally.
Pets are not accepted.
