Saint Sorlin is a proud community that has
successfully managed to preserve its ambience and
traditions down the years – on feast days the
villagers dress up in their colourful traditional
costume. You can visit the farmhouse cheese
factory to watch Beaufort being made, and the village
museum provides a fascinating insight into an Alpine
community where the pace of life has always been
dictated by the seasons.
At the same time Saint Sorlin caters for the exacting
demands of a 21st century ski holiday with
a choice of restaurants, bars, a
‘traiteur’ selling delicious regional
specialities, and even a hairdressing salon
(untried!).
