Chalet Sleeps 8/10 (100m2)

Located in the small and pretty hamlet of Saint
Marcel, Les Chalets Saint-Marcel is a
group of six detached and semi-detached wood
and stone luxurious chalets. For your
convenience, there is a private 4x4 to
take you to and from the slopes (9.00-10.00 am
and 16.30-17.30), lifts and Saint-Martin
village centre, which are only 1km away. The
chalets are 100m from a 2* Michelin restaurant.
Decorated by their interior designer owner, the
chalets combine flair and elegance in a typical
Savoyard style and the character of a
traditional property with pine panelling
throughout. All the fittings and equipment are
of a very high standard, from the modern
fire place, large French windows and
exposed beams in the living area to the kitchen
fittings. Features include antique wood
furniture, tastefully chosen fabrics which
create a great atmosphere of warmth, alpine
pictures and country curios making it a
wonderfully cosy and welcoming retreat. After a
long day of skiing, just sit back, enjoy the
scenery and relax in one of the deck chairs on
the large southeast facing balcony. New
this year: private outdoor 6-person
Jacuzzi
with integrated music system
with dock for i-pod/i-phone, CD and hard drive
connectivity.
Arranged over three floors each chalet is
fairly compact but sleeps ten in four
bedrooms which all have an en-suite
bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms each with a
double or two single beds and 2 triple bedrooms
each with a double or two single beds plus a
third mezzanine single bunk bed (please note
that this bed is accessed via a steep ladder so
is not suitable for small children). Two of the
bedrooms have a balcony. The very bright
dining/living room has a stone fire place,
satellite LCD TV, DVD player, home cinema
system, Hi-Fi and wireless
internet connection.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped. Gas or
ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge,
dishwasher, washing machine, coffee-maker,
toaster and kettle. Loan of raclette and fondue
sets (oven, microwave and freezer in the
chalets with Jacuzzi). There is a heated ski
locker and boot drying room, a washing machine
and 2 free car parking spaces. For your comfort
the chalets have under-floor heating, with a
thermostat control panel in every room.
Prices include:
Bed linen with beds made on arrival, 2 bath
towels per person, (and bathrobe for chalets
with Jacuzzi), end of stay cleaning (excluding
kitchen and washing-up), use of the private
shuttle bus and a starter pack of wood for the
fire are included.
Payable locally:
Refundable deposit €1000. Local tourist
tax c €0.90/pers/day (+13 years)

Extra services available to pay locally are:
breakfast delivery service (such as bread,
croissants, orange juice, milk,
honey….), extra wood for the fire, DVD,
board game, cot, high chair and 4x4 pushchair
hire, delivery of aperitifs and cooked meals.
Extra pack of wood is €7/pack; tourist tax
is from 13 yrs old+. Baby kit (cot, high chair,
4x4 pushchair) €70/week.
Refundable deposit of €1000 can be paid by
cash, bank card on the day of arrival OR by
bank transfer at least 15 days before arrival
date.
Pets welcome (max 1 per chalet).
