Mont-Blanc – Val d’Arly travel guide

In the heart of the French Alps and close to Mont Blanc, the Val d'Arly is still a well kept secret despite being one of the oldest tourist centres in Savoie. Attracted by stunning scenery, charming traditional villages and the warmth and friendliness of its inhabitants, discerning travellers have made this area their ideal alpine getaway. 'Between nature and tradition' says the French brochure - well, it is definitely far from the madding crowds!

Unique, varied terrain with Mont Blanc as a stunning backdrop is common to all the resorts. For unbeatable skiing, Megève with its 300km of pistes, will delight and challenge skiers, whatever their ability. Beginners and intermediates will find the region heaven for learning and improving in a safe and uncrowded environment.
