Doorstep Skiing

Peak Retreats offer lots of doorstep skiing apartments which basically means a slope is within 50m of the residence. So it is literally on your doorstep (subject to snow conditions and ability).

It is worth checking what type of slopes are by the residence or hotel. Some maybe nursery slopes others maybe a red slope. Obviously it depends on the level of skiers you have in your party as to whether you can take the slope by your residence.

You will also find properties that are located right next to a gondola for convenience that will take you to the beginning of the ski area.

The benefits of doorstep skiing is no shuttle bus rides. This is ideal for groups with small children as long as the slopes nearby are suited to their level.

Below: Saint Martin de Belleville, residence Les Chalets du Gypse (MGM) is a ski-in ski-out property however it is a blue run.

You can ski back to the residence at the end of the day.
