Hotel Mercure

Hotel Mercure Centre is ideally located right in the heart of bustling Chamonix and only a stone’s throw from restaurants, bars, shops and the numerous activities offered by the resort. The hotel was recently renovated for the winter 11/12 season.

Set at the foot of the famous Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi mountains, this modern hotel offers 125 comfortable bedrooms decorated in modern style. They all have a double or 2 single beds, satellite/cable TV, wireless internet access throughout the hotel (payable), a safe deposit box and an ensuite bathroom with bath and hairdryer. The family ‘superior’ rooms have a living area with 2 single beds and a separate small bedroom with a double bed and accommodate up to 4 people.

The onsite ‘La Cordée’ restaurant offers a wide range of local specialities: fondues, raclettes, and theme buffets. Its large decked terrace offers a great view of Mont Blanc. The cosy bar has an open fire. Ski storage room.

For your comfort the hotel is non-smoking.

To pay locally: local tourist tax c €1.50/pers/day, covered parking €20/day. Pets welcome €15/day. Christmas Eve supplement €40, compulsory New Year’s Eve supplement €150/pers.
