L’Ours Bleu
Residence L’ Ours Bleu is a brand new
residence built for the winter 2008/09
season.Overlooking the village of Vallorcine
(100m from the resort centre), it is located a
two minute walk from the cable car.
The residence is built with traditional
material with brushed wood and local stone much
in evidence. It is composed of 3 large
interconnecting chalet style buildings
comprising 70 apartments in total, ranging from
1 bedroom apartments sleeping 4 to spacious
apartments sleeping up to 10.
Facilities at L’Ours Bleu include a
reception with lounge, a leisure area with a
covered outdoor heated swimming pool
(free access), sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room
(payable locally),beauty parlour and
massages.On-site restaurant and bar (both due
to open Feb 09), free off-road parking (limited
spaces), covered parking (€50/week, state
at time of booking)and ski lockers. Bread
delivery service. Please note that the Spa
area, bar and restaurant are located on the
ground floor of Chalet A.
The apartments’ inviting interiors are
tastefully arranged with a high standard of
fittings and furnishings for comfort and
convenience. The apartments have a living area
with a double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD
player and Hi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchenette
with a 4-ring ceramic hob,multi-function oven,
fridge, dishwasher, coffee-makerand all
bedrooms have their own ensuite bath/shower
rooms.
All
apartments at L’Ours Bleu enjoy a
balcony, a TV in each bedroom and have a
telephone and internet connection
(payable).Please note that all single beds can
be pushed together into a king size bed (as
beds are made on arrival, please state at time
of booking).

Prices include: fully equipped
apartment, bed linen (beds made on arrival),
towels and end of stay cleaning (excl kitchen
area and washing up).
To pay locally: refundable deposit
€450-€1000 (depending on the size of
the apartment), local tourist tax c
€1/pers/day. To hire: cots and high
chairs.
Please note that we have not been able to
visit the apartments as the Residence was not
completed at the time of our visit. We were
impressed with the location and proposed high
standards.
