La Glycine
Chalet sleeps 10-12 – 4 bedrooms
Situated in the village centre, yet in a very
quiet area, between Samoëns’ most
prestigious residence (Le Chateau) and the
Alpine Botanical gardens, Chalet La Glycine
offers stunning views over Samoëns, the
Giffre Valley and Le Criou peak.
La Glycine is accessed by a steep short walk
(80m) –no car access, not suitable for
reduced mobility.
Totally refurbished in 2002, Chalet La Glycine
has great style with much wood and traditional
features. There are stunning views from the
large sunny balcony and terrace. All the
fittings and equipment are of a very high
standard, from comfortable sofas in the living
area to solid wood furniture and oak parquet
floor throughout.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and
sleeps ten comfortably in 4 spacious bedrooms.
On the first floor, there are three bedrooms
each with a king-size bed (one with en-suite
shower room) and a bathroom with wc; on the
second floor the 40m2 loft bedroom, with a
beamed sloping ceiling, has four single beds
and a bathroom with wc. The accommodation is
very bright and spacious. On the ground floor,
the open plan dining/living room has three
large sofas (one converts into a double bed)
and TV. The independent kitchen is fully
equipped.
Public parking spaces are at the bottom of the
path on Samoëns’ main square.
Bed linen is included. Loan of cot. End of stay
cleaning on request €100. Local tourist
tax €0.75/pers/day. Refundable deposit
€500.
