Neige et Roc
Situated on the edge of the village, Hotel
'Neige et Roc' offers the opportunity to sample
French village life, with the centre and its
shops only a short walk away.
Owners Françoise & Olivier Deffaugt
take pride in welcoming guests to their
charming family-run complex. The hotel and the
small residence with its 18 self-catering
studio apartments are beautifully arranged over
two chalets.
The hotel has all the feel of a traditional
Alpine chalet with its exposed timber and
extensive use of bright pinewood. Combining
authentic style with excellent modern comfort,
Neige et Roc offers all the ingredients for an
enjoyable and relaxing stay: refined
traditional cuisine, comfortable rooms, leisure
area with indoor swimming pool, sauna,
steam room, Jacuzzi, fitness room, beauty
treatments and massages, a games room (table
football, table tennis, pinball), billiard
room, cosy bar around open fire.
The 31 prettily decorated and well-appointed
bedrooms are spread over three floors, each
with a balcony offering views of the valley and
mountains. A choice of twins, doubles or
interconnecting rooms is available - all
en-suite.
The tastefully arranged studio apartments sleep
2-4 in 22-28m2 and have a double
bed, an extra sofa bed and a small kitchenette
area with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, 2 ring
electric hob, a bathroom with bath/wc and a
balcony. A studio with extra en-suite bedroom
is also available (balcony in each room).
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are supplied
and the apartment is cleaned every day
(excludes kitchen area). Breakfast and evening
meals can also be taken at the hotel for a
supplement.
The restaurant serves a refined traditional
Savoyard cuisine with a daily-changing menu
(without choice on half-board basis) and a
copious buffet breakfast. Every Tuesday or
Friday there is a traditional local speciality
evening (fondue, raclette, tartiflette...) with
live music.
Available for clients of both the hotel and the
apartments: satellite TV in each room,
telephone line, leisure area, ski room, washing
machine (c €5) and tumble dryer.
Baby-sitting can be arranged on request. There
is plenty of parking in front of the hotel and
three garages (€12/day - on request).
Local tourist tax €0.60/pers/day (free for
under 12's), gourmet New Year’s Eve
dinner included in the price for hotel guests
(€100/pers for self-catering guests,
payable locally). €60 cleaning deposit for
studios to cover kitchenette.
